Trade Targets
If @timlamb trues signs Daniel, he should be sacked. He’s another small player who was handy but had lost pace and is not best 22 anywhere !!!

Congratulations Jesse - Coleman Medalist.
Jesse. Congratulations from Dees supporters. Glad you can now smile and your talent has shined. Just wish it was in red and blue , not in orange and charcoal

Club in crisis - Media pile on - August 2024
https://www.afl.com.au/news/1207084/barrett-brand-petracca-takes-a-hit-amid-superstars-silence Petracca has issues with Melbourne's operations, and the handling of his horrific injury on King's Birthday as well as perceived welfare failures after that day are at the forefront of his desire to exit. The Demons are far from blameless in this situation, for the off-field behaviour of some of Petracca's teammates has been out of control at times, even before the 2021 premiership. The ridiculous, constant and unconvincing denials of club officials of a flawed culture has made some issues far worse. But until Petracca was injured this year, he had been prepared to work with the wider problems in club operations. That he wants to not just leave the Demons but go to a big Melbourne club is a sign of the selfishness of which some have tired. Brand Petracca doesn't want to play for any club, just one of the very big ones.

Christian Petracca
CollingwoodFC has firmed as Petracca's preferred landing spot. The challenge now falls on the Pies to facilitate a deal with minimal trade capital. It will seek out potential other clubs to trade and see how they can get value for Noble and others such as Elliott.

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Kozzzzy will now spend at least 2-3 months at home and start training late November. Dees have to be realistic that he will leave at one point as he looks after his family and community

Fox Footy's 2024 Season Review
F is probably the right grade. Win v Port and v Cats v Bombers showed we still had the talent to be at the top. Yes some of the losses were horrendous and shown a flawed game style. Losses to Freo (twice) , Pies (twice) and to the Eagles were low points. Though we lost 4 games by 5 points or less. Blues, Giants, Port and Lions. All teams in the finals.

Trade Targets
Brandan Parfitt - any interest ? 26yo inside/outside mid Always seemed to be very good when I saw the Cats. Not sure if it’s injury or poor form that meant he was on the outer at Cattery.
-
Farewell Adam Tomlinson
I think he was definitely on the outside looking in. Seemed Goodwin didn’t rate him. He was too good for VFL and showed ability as key defender role. Unfortunately he would be dropped quickly where we had a loss despite his form. He should look elsewhere. Suggest Kangas would be his best option. Good luck and thanks Tommo

Rising player agent switches to rival management group There's been some movement among two of the the game's biggest player management stables By Callum Twomey Apr 30, 2024 RISING player agent Julian Petracca has jumped management stables, quitting Hemisphere Management Group to join Connors Sports Management. Petracca is understood to have this week resigned from Hemisphere Management, where he worked alongside Alex McDonald, Dave Trotter, Tom Seccull and Annabel Burge, to join Connors Sports with Paul Connors, Robbie D'Orazio and Nick Gieschen. The competitors are two of the biggest player management companies in the game, with the likes of Patrick Dangerfield, Nick Daicos, Bailey Smith, Charlie Curnow and Harley Reid with Connors Sports, and Jeremy Cameron, Scott Pendlebury, Harry McKay, Caleb Serong and Hugh McCluggage in Hemisphere's stable. The older brother of Melbourne superstar Christian, who is managed by Connors Sports, Petracca is considered one of the emerging managers in the game and has built a strong group of young talents. Greater Western Sydney's No.1 pick Aaron Cadman and defender Connor Idun, Gold Coast's Mac Andrew and Melbourne's Blake Howes are among the players that he has managed in recent seasons.

@dazzledavey36 thanks. Leigh Matthews makes good sense. But we don’t know all the issues and like ourselves, it’s a view from the outside.

**A Heartfelt Request to Reconsider**❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💙💙💙💙💙 🧙♂️Ray Taylor in the socials Hi Christian, I hope this message finds you well. As a passionate supporter of the Melbourne Football Club, I have been truly inspired by your incredible talent, leadership, and dedication to the team over the years. You have been a vital part of our journey, and it's hard to imagine the club without you. I recently heard about your indication to leave the MFC, and I wanted to reach out personally to ask if you might reconsider this decision. You have made such a significant impact here, both on and off the field, and it feels like there is still so much more that we can achieve together. I understand that decisions like these are incredibly personal and can be influenced by many factors. If there’s anything the club or we, as fans, can do to support you and help change your mind, please let us know. The next six weeks are crucial, and we would be so grateful for any chance to continue seeing you in the red and blue. Thank you for taking the time to read this. No matter what you decide, you will always have the unwavering support of myself and the entire MFC community. Wishing you all the best. Ray we are all Ray

Christian Petracca
The suggestion is that these are the reasons as to why he wants to leave - clubs poor dealing with the Oliver situation - clubs dealing with his injury on kings birthday against Collingwood - wants to play in front of big crowds - clubs performance since winning the flag in 2021, two straight sets exits and not making the 8 this year - moving to a big Victorian club will enhance his Petracca brand image, he makes alot of money with his social media and playing for a big club will endorse this further. - he doesn’t like the hour drive to Casey. Sounds like Trac is all about Trac if you believe these reports. We have all loved Trac 💙❤️since he walked through the doors option 1 if he wants out and it’s toxic ( as reported) then Dees must trade him.💔💔💔💔 Sad. Horrible. Ugly. Grief. But we’d all move on. There is no point hanging onto a disgruntled player. Get some value and show that the club is bigger than the individual. option 2 Like Garry Lyon "On The Couch" said "I'm doubling down and stating that the Melbourne Football Club will not be trading Christian Petracca so it's up to Christian to walk back into the club and be a leader." Goodwin and Pert has repeatedly said he will be in red and blue next year. Hes contracted for 5 more years. That’s a commitment. You don’t just walk away from $1million a year out of spite. Dees didn’t cause his injury or his post surgery issues. They gave him time. They let him go to Noosa and develop more brand Petracca content. Whatever the issues, the media is loving the click bait. They love love love the drama. Like vultures circling. The silence is the killer. No update from the club or indeed from Trac. It lets the media control the story. Dees leaders say we have a great culture. No issues. But all the words cannot override the js29 issue, the oliver issue and the Petracca issue. A review is needed.

New List Manager - Tim Lamb?
They weren’t wanted by their clubs. They were all happy to be shown the door. Billings and Hunter were salary dump players who’d signed on for bigger $$$ then were playing 2nds footy. We took them in !! Strangely McAdam seems to be one player we actually chased and offered a 3year deal and crows got our 2024 2nd round pick. What a stinker of a deal.
