  1. I suppose alot of that will depend on his performance for the rest of the year, if he looks disinterested at the end of the year it might be time to ask some hard questions of a few of the guys.
  2. If Frawley really wants out, which seems like that is the case, better he goes this year and we can get something in return, better than him walking at the end of next year
  3. I totally agree with this! the other side of it is that as Mark Neeld himself said, we have guys who have played 50 games expected to play like 150 game players because that's what we are up against, our list has some amazing talent but needs a good foundation so when they are 150 game players we can have a real crack at a flag. Mark Neeld sets that foundation and needs to be backed.
  4. I know people would disagree, but at this point i would be willing to back Neeld in for the rest of the year,
  5. On the topic of potential targets, Anthony Miles seems to have fallen out of favour at GWS, i was really impressed with him last year and i know him personally and he's a fantastic bloke, what does everybody think of him as a potential target?
  6. Mark Lecras could play as a mid and a small forward, would cost a decent amount but 26 year old All Australian quality player would be a massive boost
  7. If we start well and get the confidence flowing across the field we will see more of our good football and be right in the hunt.
  8. you wouldn't consider shane woewodin, adam yze, cameron bruce and travis jonstone at their best A grade?
  9. Yeah, it would be nice, plus i think he is the sort of person who would put the lazy players in their place fairly quickly which we definately need
  10. I am thrilled that we got dawes, unlike byrnes and rodan he has youth, he is very bright and he and clark along with hogan could be a very dangerous forward line for a long time, a gun midfield and mcdonald developing further and the dees will be back up where they belong
  11. I think you might be pretty well bang on with this, only change i'd make is swap sylvia and matt jones over
  12. I understand that he hasn't been doing the defensive stuff well enough, but i would love to see him play as a sub, just unleash him and tell him to play his game, good chance he will do plenty of damage in a one quarter burst and his opponent will be abit more tired so less likely to have as much of an impact the other way.
  13. Who does Mckenzie go to assuming he plays? Rich, rockliff, moloney, zorko, black? not sure which other mids they have. James frawley has a huge job with jonothan brown
  14. It's a huge call, but i honestly think of our current group of players at the end of their careers wherever that may be, howe will be the best player of them. or maybe the player who wins the most matches off his own influence
  15. Terlich won't miss, he has been a huge find and works as hard as anyone, clark injury may be a blessing if it means jack watts can be thrown forward and have another run as out tall target with pedo and sellar
  16. we look so much better when we attack and take the ball through the corridor.
  17. Grimes - another strong showing Byrnes - showed good composure Evans - future demons star Trengove - underrated defencive influence Jamar - much improved game M.Jones - good solid effort N.Jones - absolute super star Sylvia - consistancy equals superstardom Bail - worked really hard Howe - oozing with talent Garland - very good performance Gawn - next dean cox Frawley - kept cameron quiet Pederson - played a role Terlich - worked really hard Watts - needs some confidence McDonald - still very young Tapscott - loads of courage Jetta - solid not brilliant Clark - hope he's okay Davey - turned clock back Viney - may need rest
  18. for a player who has played 2-3 games he seems to have an old head on his shoulders, which is nice! and i'm sure he has alot of improvement left in him as he finds his feet at AFL level
  19. If he played for Collingwood he'd be talked about as one of the best mids going around, he has very little help alot of the time and is so often the only shining light we have
  20. Would it be fair to say if we beat the lions next week, Voss will be a very nervous chap?
  21. I loved how we took the game on and moved the ball fast in the last quarter, that's how we need to play all the time in my opinion.
  22. He is everything Melbourne football club needs to go forward, trains as hard as anyone, great leader, super talented and happy to not get the big stats and play his role, today just showed how important he really is to this club.
