if we get a pp a midfield of trengove grimes sheed dunstan jones viney sylvia toumpas kent howe blease could be very good for us

i suspet the pp may be part of the afl trying to sway roos to coach us, in any case we have lost more games by 100 plus points in the last two years than the comp can afford

if we get a priority sheed and aish would be an amazing combo for us

what picks would we likely get as a pp? 2 and 5 or something?

id prefer eade to williams, craig and roos, bloke has built two lists into top 4 teams, develops players well and has experience to burn

So he loses his Brownlow and is banned for 2 years in theory?

It really comes down to the new coach I suppose, if it were me i'd draft Dunstan and Billings or Aish and look at picking up maybe an Ellis and Cross as free agents

Totally agree mate, the thing is IMO if we get the right coach which I think is Eade or Williams, we could rise like Port or Gold coast have, we have a good spine, very good forward line on paper, if we bolster our midfield and get some confidence in the group we could close the cap very quickly, not saying I think we can make finals in 2014 but I think we can certainly be a much improved side and start winning back some respect.

If we got a priority pick he would be a pretty handy bargaining chip in a trade to a side like Carlton or freo who are looking for good forwards, and we need a quality experienced mid.

i love the kids kicking skills, he is going to be an asset

not fussed if roos rules himself out, eade or williams and maybe a sumich or burns in a succession plan might be just as good, roos has never coached a really poor list so he may not be any better than an untried assistant apart from the bonus his profile gives in terms of sponsors

pretty sure the match review pannel just get on the crownies and slur out a number, two games for punching someone is just strange

sellar was so impressive in his first year neeldy thought lets get pedo and gillies to top up our spud supplies

he and clisby will be driving our half back line for the next 10 years imo

was thrilled when we drafted toumpas, rated him equal pick 1 with whitfield, great to see him doing okay in a poor side which is never easy
