I was told by a mate fairly involved at Brisbane that Target 1 is Roos Target 2 is Craig, so i wouldn't be suprised at all if he ends up in Brisbane, and he has done the right thing by our club so i wouldn't be too annoyed if he did choose to leave. Interesting that most of the reporters doing their predictions on AFL.com have Choco Williams coaching us and Adam simpson coaching the Lions, haven't really heard a rumour of either of those things happening like there has been with others, wouldn't be a bad outcome for anyone imo.

It is possible, but what if the coach turns around and says that's great but.... i don't want any of those people as assistants, for us to be talking to assistants there would be some level of influence from prospective coaches going on, otherwise we are just trying to be seen to be doing something.

I agree with you mate, to me Priority means just that ND1 and i think most clubs would be planning around the idea that will happen now, it's not going to hurt GWS for example they already have talent to burn, but it would be a huge plus for us.

Honestly mate, they wouldn't be silly enough to be fishing imo, what would Eade for example think about taking the worst coaching job in the world if he didn't get to pick his assistants? The club would no Craig has the ability to sell next to no hope and that's one of the criteria so i highly doubt he will be the coach, were suggestions Roos had signed way back in june or was very close so it's possible something has been sorted the whole time, if Mark Williams is not being seriously considered ( providing the decision has not already been made ) it would be as big a mistake as appointing Mark Neeld in the first place.

Assuming we get a priority pick of some form where would it be? i am thinking we might get pick 2 & 3 if we finish 17th and 1 & 2 if we finish last.

recruit Mark WIlliams as coach and then sign Oscar judd as an assistant when he reaches playing age sign him as a playing coach.

i tend to agree, would have to double his paycheck to even get a second look, having said that it would be stupid not to put in a call and just ask him, they should be asking anyone with even a 1% chance of moving.

Got a few good options at pick 21 Durmont, Dunstan Cripps, Hartung, Acres, freeman some might go earlier but it looks as though we are going to get some good talent with that pick, might well be cripps
