    Any more word on Roos? heard Barrett saying we tabled a formal offer last night, imo if he met with PJ and directors last night it would more than likely be a signing situation, but that's just a guess hopefully it's all a done deal and they're gunna let us know soon

    He is a dees supporter but i highly doubt they will have a serious crack, we have plenty of tall forwards

    I am certain if we get a PP it will be pick 1, we asked for a priority, not draft concession. and assuming that would more than likely be picks 1 and 3 i would be open to trading both for the right offer, but not unhappy if we just picked up players. Pick 1 would most likely get us a quality mid and a first round pick, and most teams are likely to have a dig, pick 3 would have more currency for the Crows and Bombers looking for high picks, maybe Sloane or Zaharakis could find their way onto the table? just a guess though. my ideal outcome would be Pick 1 to Brisbane for Tom Rockliff and pick 7 ( guessing their pick will be between 6-10 somewhere ) pick 3 to the Crows for Rory Sloane and 3rd round pick

    I actually feel the " kelly " type may be as important to us as the in and under players from all reports we are having a real crack at Adams so that helps sure up the inside stuff, Aish and toumpas are well rounded mids with fantastic skills another thing we needed but Kellys ability to run harder than anyone on the ground would be very handy, how often our defenders kick to contests because noone runs hard enough to give them an option, slap kelly on a wing and he might just help out abit in the regard

    Got my hopes up, although if they met at the MCG last night like the reports said i'd bet my left arm it was to sign a contract

    I have a funny feeling the boys are really going to come to play today, hoping we get over the line for flash, D-rod and Joel mac, but mostly i hope this meeting with Roos and so on has given the boys some hope and confidence things are well and truely on the right path! bring on the new dawn of the MFC

    He has been in consistant form in the VFL, has a bit of class about him, another full pre season and he might be well on the way

    I don't wanna get my hopes up too much, i thought we had Ross Lyon, but meeting the directors on a saturday night at the MCG can only be a big positive, what other reason could they possibly have?

    James Brayshaw may just be trying to stop further support, he clearly doesn't know what he is talking about in this situation though, the bail out package was the amount needed to perform a short term football department restructure and pay out previous employee's, it never had a thing to do with debt, it was a necessary step to helping us become self sufficient again
