Football department culture improves, more likely to attract top end talent and high profile players, kids more excited about MFC, members numbers, crowd numbers, sponsor numbers shoot through the roof, this is without playing a game.

Jamar and pick 2 for adams? no way in the world, james aish imo is as good a prospect as adams if not better, jamar and 21 sounds better to me.

I agree the club would by this stage have an option A, B, C and D but i don't think it will come to that, Roos is fueling most of this himself. I still take most of what Barrett says with a grain of salt.

Highly doubt they will give 2 shits what the other clubs think mate, if they get us right they will make more money, that's all they will be concerned with, right now we are a liability, PP1 has the power and potential to change that, should make us far more competitive next year.

I'd be tipping Matt Jones for the best first year, played every game and been very consistant, Terlich has been good but as some have suggested can leak goals and such.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Col gives it a real shake, when he is on he probably impacts the game more than Nate Jones, stands to reason the other teams started tagging him rather than jones as the season went on.

Absolutely mate, he'd do a great job up there and he seemed very disappointed in that last presser, clearly his coaching passion has been re-ignited and unfortunately we got our man, would be thrilled if he got the lions job.

Looking back it's abit surprising they didn't do it earlier, they had a great caretaker in Craig, they clearly didn't see a future for Neeld, i suppose the only thing was having to pay him out.

i am of the opinion Burns will coach WC next year, and Worsfold may be a sneaky chance at Brisbane, but i also know from a good mate who is very involved at the Lions they are pretty into Craig, so i would not be upset if that happened.

I think WCE will still sack Worsfold, give Scott Burns the reins in 2014 but you're right it is amusing, who do you think coaches Brisbane?

I agree, i'd love to hear they have called for a presser this arvo, but at the same time i think we already have a fair idea don't we? we get to rub into Brisbane supporters how they have totally stuffed up their coaching process and we got out number 1 target which is hilarious.

I think the thing to consider is which teams would be into pick 1, and what sort of offers they might make. Freo, Carlton, bulldogs, brisbane, adelaide, stkilda, collingwood, GCS, richmond, would all most likely be willing to deal i'd be certainly looking at trying to prize a quality young mid and a high draft pick out of these sides if possible.

I have judged Jack very harshly as a player, kinda part of the deal when you go pick 1, but i think he would be a really good forward with some half decent delivery, he has been okay this year, two weeks ago i was all for trading him, now i'm not sure.

No price, it is the be all and end all of the football department, and i believe we will be a very strong club again under paul, Paul Roos is the future of this club now, anyone else and we lose more talent, we continue to go backwards, geez imagine demonland if we hired an untried coach and Jesse Hogan left because he didn't like the direction of the club.

Todd viney has unearthed some strong talent from the draft, much nicer than the last few years.
