    Look mate, who bloody knows haha last i heard was that he was on the coaching shortlist, imo that wouldn't happen if he hadn't shown some form of interest behind closed doors, i highly doubt PJ would bother if he was totally out of the picture, having said that Adam Simpson didn't make the short list at all and i have heard more people talking about him coaching us this last 3-4 days than anyone ever for any job so i guess it's a waiting game, shame GNF isn't around at the moment, he seems to be able to give an insight into the Roos situation

    Greenwood, yes! the top 3 we would have to trade for so not sure on our chances there, sewell and Dal Santo should absolutely be on the radar unfortunately David Swallow is from WA so the go home factor won't help us there, and we're pushing a ton of bricks up hill with Adams, i feel he is going to basically get to pick his preference unless we offer way overs.

    Yeah, wouldn't be at all upset if his brother is wearing Red and Blue next year, if we were to get a PP i wouldn't be surprised if we pulled the trigger on him early, just the sort of player we need right now.

    I think his biggest issue is he doesn't know what sort of player he is, is he a tall mid, a medium forward, a ruckman or a half back flanker, the role you play around the ground might be very different, new coach needs to give him a role and stick with it, providing he is with us next year of course.

    Our targets should be... A grade mids Mids on the fringe at stronger clubs interstate mids who might want to come home and maybe 1 or 2 older mids for experience

    It's not Eade, the rules say we can't interview any coach currently involved at another club, Richmond gave us permission to interview Choco but they didn't have to, meaning essentially we could interview 2 of our potential candidates granted they are 1 and 2 on my wishlist. also what if we win the next three games and the players come out and say they want to play under craig?

    I think Nicho could be a really good player if he were to improve his skills and decision making.

    I actually can't understand why it's not an easy decision as crazy as that sounds, Paul Roos is target number one i think everyone agrees on that, and if he says no, it's Choco, Eade or Craig Ratten should also be seriously considered although i'm not sure he will be.

    Can be all sorts of reasons why someones kicking might not be quite up to scratch, it's not uncommon that a professional sportsmen has to work on technique and things like that.

    Yeah i tend to agree mate, would be great to get Simpson on board but i see no reason why if Roos says no, we wouldn't just move on to Williams and Eade who both want the job.

    I can't stand Essendon, but then Carlton and Westcoast don't really deserve to play finals in their place :/

    Interesting, i used to love watching Simpson play for NM and rated him on par with Carey and Archer as their best player, great captain, loved everywhere he goes by all accounts, been part of very successful enviorments and not just one, wouldn't be upset if we signed him and hung onto Neil Craig.
