Not going to happen guys until someone at VFL level pushes him out and that isn't happening as far as I can see. More the pity ..not because of any loss of form but it has been so obvious that his place and that of Vince is up for grabs. Getting to the stage where we may need to trade for his replacement come seasons end. Hunt or Wagner anyone ? They certainly don't cut it at present.

Yep... and that's why you never take a cold weather based team mid season to a sauna like environment. No other team in the league would be dumb enough to do this unless they were directed by the AFL.

Hunt provides run off the backline and traditionally bombs to the forward line. His round the ground disposal isn't great. Getting it into our 50 is not our problem so I'm not sure what he adds. At VFL level he was not doing much before his injury

We play Richmond at Beaconsfield next week. They are top of the ladder and beat us well last we played. Should be a great test for AVB , Kent and a few others. Hopefully the conditions make for a meaningful game. Bit worried about our Casey ruck stocks. If (touch wood) anything happened to Gawn there is nothing there as yet.

As I am sure many will say let's temper any enthusiasm until after the Bulldogs game. We played the 13th team without their two best players in deplorable conditions that will almost certainly impact upon us next week. Did we learn much... I'll let others be the judge
