Round 19 Non MFC Games
Blues well on top at present. Could be some strong pressure on both south Australian coaches over the next few weeks

Round 19 Non MFC Games
Sitting near a group of teenagers from the northern territory. Asked them if they thought our playing up there had increased our supporter level in the nt. They all looked at me blankly and said... No

CASEY: Rd 17 vs Sandringham
the Sandringham/mfc relationship was not a great one. Should we have stayed around and worked on it... who knows. IIRC we were one of the first shared teams and it was purely a cost saving exercise. Strangely enough the old MFC reserves team were reasonably successful but it never really seemed to flow through to the senior team The VFL is struggling and becoming increasingly irrelevant. Enjoy it while you can is my thought. Spargo and Hannan not playing is symptomatic in the sense that teams are looking at fitness regimes other than match practice to re-invigorate players.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Did you read the original post. PS: Don't bother.. you seemed to be so one eyed

Future of the NT
come off it. The clubs pool the Tv coverage to sell the rights. If they didn't the power clubs would make a fortune The clubs receiving supps are well publicised. I'll get them and give them to you. IIRC we are on the cusp as are Saints, Bulldogs and North. Clubs getting bigger amounts are the Suns, Brisbane and GWS. Freo may also be on the drip

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Facilties.. include such things as indoor training, pools , special rehab centres and the list goes on. Have you even looked at the super facilities enjoyed by Essendon and Freo just to mention two. It goes way beyond an oval

Reverse Goals/Behinds Ladder
I have a mad Bulldogs friend... could I have the link to that table please thanks

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
we take what we can get but the modern training facilities that the super clubs have built or are are building are at a level beyond this. If however Victory and Collingwood FC move out we might just hit the jackpot but remember you have to come up with the community advancement theme to get the funding.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Here we go.... "Melbourne are eyeing land around Gosch's Paddock for their new home after being forced to abandon their highly ambitious plan to build a new headquarters over the Jolimont train lines and carved into Yarra Park. The club is developing plans to build a new home on the southern side of Gosch’s Paddock near the freeway exit at Punt Rd, possibly strapping around the oval to the western side and connecting with the existing car park. Another alternative is to build between AAMI Park and Gosch’s Paddock, potentially incorporating the existing car park. The state government has encouraged Melbourne to explore opportunities on the other side of the railway lines after making it clear they did not support a development in Yarra Park." https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/golly-gosch-demons-eye-site-for-new-home-20190724-p52acv.html

Injury List - Season 2019
Why is Tim Smith even on the list given he played for Casey? What is the diff between "test" and TBC Communication is not our club's strong point. And what is the diff between season and "indefinite"

Injury List - Season 2019
why does my MFCSS automatically add the rider.... just in time for next year's injury

Future of the NT
They won't pay for Alice alone... Darwin is the capital and the relative population centre. Unfortunately we will always need the money unless we fundamentally change our structures. Equally we will probably remain on the cusp of receiving equalisation payments. If we stay we must structure in it in a way that maximises the chances of winning. If we want to ditch the games we need to change our revenue structures. For example we could look at placing a medium term "growth" levy of say $30 per membership per year that regarded simplistically would provide just over $1M per year assuming no reduction in memberships. We could also negotiate hard with the AFL for a better break even figure for games at Docklands that would make playing these teams more attractive. Out of the box how about an MCG double header with North or St Kilda where they also played an interstate team. Should get a better return given that the MCC's fixed game costs should remain similar.
