  1. Agree 100%. Underutilised in 2022 & 2023.

The AFL had an opportunity to make a stand after the Angus Brayshaw incident. They should've clearly stated that the player initiating the tackle or smother has a clear duty of care and that Maynard's action was unacceptable. Shamefully but typically they squibbed it.
  3. Interesting story Beetle. I grew up in Dandenong in the early 60’s & followed the mighty redlegs. They wore the same jumpers as the Dees so it was an easy decision. Geez Dandy had some great players - Alan Morrow, Hughie Mitchell, Rodney Evans, Frosty Miller et al.
  4. Sadly lost his mojo in 2023. Stopped hitting the scoreboard & seemed to lose his aggression & niggle.
  5. Des Campbell, Des O'Dwyer, Chris Aitken, Peter Thorne
  6. Yes and the reason was injury. That's why we let him go. Its actually a very smart list management decision. We need experienced players at Casey mentoring the kids & keeping the seconds team competitive.
  7. Thats a snide little put down for someone who averages 16 disposals & 5 marks when he played for us.
  8. Can't believe the negative nonsense written about Marty Hore by posters. He is a very handy signing. He has good skills & can fill in wing, or in defence & only injury prevented him becoming a permanent player last time round. He'll also be an ideal player at Casey.

There's Tom McDonald & Tomlinson at a pinch. Last year we won a game with Weideman & Mitch Brown rucking.
  10. So to summarise- you believe that if Max is injured the Club plans to play Trac & Joel Smith in the ruck ! Not sure on what basis you dreamed that up but it is patently adsurd. You may as well say that if May is injured there is a left field plan to replace him with Oliver.
  11. The whole tragedy thing is absurd. The "High draft pick ruined by going to a dysfunctional Club" melodrama is pure BS. Lots of good players get picked by struggling Clubs & still succeed. Jack had his problems but eventually became a good player for us. If he had come to 2017 pre season better prepared instead of unfit he would now be a 200 plus game premiership player. Where he ended up was entirely of his own making.
  12. Some rewriting of history going on here by some posters. He actually got it together by 2016 & had become a really key player. Unfortunately he turned up for the 2017 pre season in poor shape & Goodie lost faith in him & his fate was sealed.
  13. I actually have nothing to say.

I'm almost getting nostalgic for Colin Flaubert's long winded historical lectures on morality 😴
  15. And you can't get away with Steven Clark on the half back flank.
  16. Thought you previously posted your last one ever

And provided us with an endless supply of moralising serial windbags 🤪
  18. Robert was good & had a couple of great years for us. Was picked for the state side while he was with us.
  19. Not by me. Outstanding footballer.
  20. Stevie Johnson for me or maybe Jack Gunston.
  21. About time Casey gets a decent ruckman. Its cost them 1 or 2 premierships.
  22. Every time there was a selection to be made Goodie & the BT took the conservative, stick to what has worked, option. There was a lack of boldness in our selections. Grundy & Woewodin should have played.

Hate to agree with someone referencing Tucker Carlson but spot on. Binmans post was total psychobabble, an impenetrable word salad worthy of the worst management speak. In any case a contract is a contract - both parties pay their money & take their chances. However I would be surprised if BBB plays next year.
  24. Campbell Brown may be despicable but he is quiet right A sad, bitter, straight sets exit . We need to respond through actions not talk.
