If Jeffo is going to make it he has to improve his goal kicking. He just has to consistently nail those 35 to 40 m out on a slight angle. 4 goals straight or 3.1 makes him useful but 1.4 or 4 points makes him a liability.

And let's not forget he was in fairly poor shape when he arrived at pre season training in 2024.

Its always been a Demonland special. Identify a young player & build him up to be the next Judd/Dusty Martin before he is even established at Casey. Kentfield is the latest victim. AMW has shown something but is a long way from a regular first 18.

Think most observers would suggest that most of the spadework for the 2021 Flag was done by Peter Jackson who inherited a basket case & left a Club primed for success.

Jeez mate Cam Schwab spoke well, so did John Anderson, Steve Harris, Ray Ellis & others & I met several of them. They have all had media training. It doesn't mean anything & is mostly waffle. Judge them on what they deliver not on what they tell you.

Pretty much all our CEO's of the last 40 years present well & speak well but apart from Jackson most were pretty disappointing. I wish Mr Guerra all the best but he will be judged on results & outcomes.

Actually plenty have been critical of list management for a few years. List managers are supposed to improve us not send us backwards. Losing Bedford, Hunt, Jordon, Grundy, & Harmes & gaining Dunstan, Schache, Fullerton, Billings & McAdam took us backwards.

This comparison highlights how smart Geelongs list management is & how poor ours has been for several years. Both players are around the same age & ability although Martin has played more. Shane cost a 2nd round pick & commands a hefty salary while Jack cost Cats nothing & is probably on minimum pay with performance bonuses. And dont start me on Tom Stewart, Tyson Stengle or Shaun Mannagh also picked up for a song. We need our list managers to smarten up.

Me too. He was in great form for Casey mid year & looked set to debut until he got injured & he is a beautiful kick. Don't think the Frankston game helped as he was very poor that night.

The job of the Board is to make decisions in the best interests of the Club & they have done that. And whether Goodwin is a good bloke or not is totally irrelevant. I'm sure Mark Neeld is a good bloke.
