Very sadly IMO Neeld will harbour the same "done" feeling towards the end of next year. Footy does suck sometimes. Yes sure he will see out 2013 but will need more than 6 wins to continue on IMO!! Given Neeld has not improved the state of play and If Malthouse was up for it and ready to sign then we'd be crazy not to get him in 2014. Boards come and go as well. Am sure Malthouse would prefer a clean slate....

Agreed! Stop Watching Burgo! Same goes for the Footy Show(Ch 9 Gary Lyon/Sam Newman Rubbish). The only Footy Show worth watching these days is Marngrook! Best Viewing on the ABC. It's hilarious, informative and entertaining.

If retirement is the case here then congratulations all round. He will go out in style and would not surprise me if snapped up by another club as a specialist coach with a view to being a senior Coach later down the track.

Not an AFL club would entertain Magner apart from GWS and that's still unlikely. Magner's been serviceable and deserves respect but got to be realistic. Blease? No way. Petterd, Bate and Dunn would look good in a Gold Coast Jumper and all can play. Haven't had great years though. Other clubs would be interested. Trengove? 21 yo Captain still learning the game. Not his fault was selected Captain. Crazy to even consider trading him. Concusion =Magner and Bate may be traded the others will stay and for good reason.
