  1. Rob don't you get Australia TV Network. In Thailand we have this. Live Footy Friday Arvo, Sat and Sunday. There is also an ABC Ap for live Football broadcasts.
  2. Scott Chisolm rings a big bell??? Remind me please.
  3. It's more of a concept team and a direction Melbourne have to take rather than an actual starting line up. Ben Hur is the only guy to actually put up a blue print of Melbourne's future while carefully articulating why this is so. The Magners, Sellars, Couches are gap fillers, all try bloody hard but were Blunders by the Neeld Admin. BH has a balance of youth, speed, bigs and smalls and sure it's a young team but that's good? right? Silly polls advocating MASS CULLS and" I believe in Neeld" without any reason to believe and Pro Neeld Polls don't tell us much. Would rather read a well articulated piece as to the direction Melbourne should go and congrats to BH! Continually bagging out on players we are meant to support is not only malicious but also disrespectful. Sure I'm not happy Melbourne rushed to appoint Neeld but crap happens and will move on. The guys no Moron and maybe he can warm into the job. Hasn't shown anything yet but hey...it's coming. Tonatopia makes some excellent points in reference to our current crop of players...browse back and see what he has to say..... Clark Watts Jones Grimes McKenzie Sylvia Moloney Davey Green Rivers Jamar Jurrah Frawley Trengove Howe Garland Bartram Tapscott Viney Brad Green IMO all these guys should stay on next year and I hope they do! Get Maxxy Gawn back to team up with Russian and away we go with BH's re-structured mids (would be sad to lose Sylvia/Moloney though BH)...ok.....bla bbl a......hand it over to you guys to rip the shreds off me!!!!! hehe
  4. Hi Ben Hur [censored] mate f ing brilliant post. Seriously you should get in Todd Viney's ear. What to say? First reaction comment. Moloney/Sylvia Losing Moloney and Sylvia in one fowl swoop is a little like misplacing your keys and running late for a hot date. IMO both have not yet peaked and still have loads to offer. For Sylvia to be playing good footy stage after a broken back earlier in the year is phenomenal. I regard him as a match winner but also a rogue at the same time. He is class though concede can be lazy and a noted scallywag. All clubs need a scallywag! Moloney a beast and will get better. Taggert Saw this kid play a game for Casey earlier in the year and fair dinkum immediately noted he's going to NBT! Sadly then got injured and disappeared. Not familiar with some of the inclusions but will back your judgement and agree we have to adopt a totally different mindset and all is not doom and gloom. I do like Bate, Tapscott, Petterd. Like Taggert, Tynan has hardly had a crack yet so to let them go so early is a huge call. In another forum advocating "MASS CULL" noted our 1-4 year tier players came in at the start of Bailey's tenure not only had to adjust to Bailey's "unique" game style but now Neeld's way which is significantly different again. I went on to suggest Neeld may give these Guys..the Bartrams, Mortons, Bates , Tapscotts another season to see if it all gels. Everyone knows I'm not a Neeld Man but I may be wrong. Lets not go there. Cloke i Worth every penny otherwise Collingwood wouldn't be stressing about keeping him. He would repay Melbourne over and over again. Cloke would ignite any midfield in the Competition. The Mids would breath fire knowing there's actually someone to kick to. Moloney/Sylvia/Trengove and some of the your new gun recruits would be foaming in the Mouth with the thought of Clark/Jurrah/Cloke not to mention Green if he plays on. Green seems very fit and still has a lot to offer. It may not be at Melbourne but a GWS would snap him up. Viney still very young and wouldn't expect too much in years one and two though after that will obviously be a gun. Who knows though. May turn out to be another Tim Watson or Brian Wilson and absolutely kick butt straight away. Watts Still believe this guy will be a star and am comfortable the way the draft panned out. Sure Nic Nat would look good in a Demon Jumper but am convince he's eventually head West anyway. Big Guys take more time. OK for Guys like Darling who already has the huge frame. Watts has the Class, speed and skills and can mark kick and has a football brain. In 5 years he will be Captain of the MFC. IMO of course:) No mention of Sellar? Like Magner and later Couch all were mature players brought in for "instant effect" but didn't work out and IMO bad calls by Neeld and merely stopped guys like Taggert, Davis, Cook, Tynan getting games from the start. A little like filling holes with bit of Poly filler. Magner certainly is a hard nut and will be an absolute GUN in suburban or Country Football but not at AFL level. He was ok though and strangely enough one of my favourite players this year. Leigh Williams Another Cloke without to outlay the big Coin? IMO he's better than Cook and is nearly over a horror run of sickness and injuries.
  5. be nice to see Ablett and GC play live. Hopefully Melbourne can show a bit of what we are supposed to be working toward.
  6. Noted you're in LA Rob?? How's life in LA and is there much AFL broadcast or talk going on? I have a very good buddy off to live in New York later this year. Mad Saints supporter.
  7. Dually noted! Gutsy selection and fair call given the current standings. We all remember the last Melbourne Draw not so long ago v Pies.
  8. You're welcome Rob Mac..anything to take the stress out of the week. Noticed some of the topics were getting a little heated this week when in reality all support the same club so heaven only knows why we're fighting Am with you on that prediction ...very close to the mark.
  9. 4-6 months of the year in Chiangmai . Close to the Uni..
  10. Don't read too much into it. There really isn't anything new. P Johnson was straight up and didn't say anything incriminating. Experimenting with players out of position isn't deliberately dropping the game. This will all blow over again.
  11. if that comes off it's an extra $200 voucher. 10 points either way on the 15 goals!
  12. america!! I will send you the prize and please pass on to a buddy. Not the Buddy!!..otherwise I can post on to anyone of your choosing. Have been loving your posts by the way!! Keep it going.
  13. Hi Mubutu! For what it's worth my revised selection is Melbourne by 41 points. Am confident the players will do it for Neeld this week with this Tanking issue being a motivating factor. McKenzie will do a job on Ablett and if Watts is back ...IF...he will kick 3 with a dominating display by my second favourite player C. Sylvia.
  14. Hi Barn Dee=great prediction. Will offer 5 points either way on winning predictions over 50 points!
  15. Ok Demonlanders! A few have selected Gold Coast and I thought the original offer was conditional on a Melbourne win but having re-read my Topic that point is not clear...To Raise the stakes then....2 Pair for successful Melbourne selection and one pair for GC Win. We don't want to entertain a GC win!! Pants will arrive on your doorstep in Ghandi bag with complimentary goodies on the following Tuesday. If successful email your addy to [email protected]
  16. That's true!! Crikey thank you for reminding me!!! I'm delirious bed time good night all!!
  17. Well I suppose it's all relative as to the shite adjective. Shite is probably a tad harsh. What's shite to one might be immature to another. My point is they are crap at this point in time...
