He's had breakout patches, it looked like they found the best use for him off HB until opposition coaches found that he couldn't play one on one. He's a no for me unless we pick him up cheap. In a lot of ways he's an unfulfilled talent like Watts, butI think Watts has more upside with his versatility.

I wouldn't be happy with a player group running around with an advantage. I love the way they tried to spin that one a month or so ago that the stuff they were taking didn't give them an advantage, well how stupid are they and why would they take anything they didn't think would give them the advantage. Sorry but you can't have players in a competition who have a real or perceived advantage over others no matter how innocent they may be. As a club they have made huge advances this year until they have hit the mental barrier now and Monfries, when was he ever likely to kick 7 goals against the Cats. Circumstantial, yes but if the club has been found to have used this stuff then they all need to be rubbed out unless Essendon can suddenly find the documentation that details who took what.

I think he is giving it his best shot but the decision making is really hard for him to improve on, what we see is what we get with Nicho and he's done a lot more than most if not all of us on here have done. He has played AFL football. Can't knock him for that.

If and it is a big if..it were to happen it would be more than likely Craig as coach with Simpson the understudy. I wouldn't imagine any of the others, Williams, Eade or Ratten would be interested in this type of set up. I also don't think we will appoint an untried coach not even with a mentor but it may be a senior coach with someone like Simpson as coach in waiting.

Davis lacks the skill of these other players but he does compete and hit the packs hard and bring the ball to ground. I think he did his job pretty well if that was his assignment. Watts can do a lot of things but he doesn't do this, Gunstan doesn't either by the way. They are both floaters and opportunists.
