Pluses and minuses here. Would you think it good to have no candidates to vote for in the upcoming State elections? 10 candidates gives members options, it's called democracy. The down side of democracy is you are answerable to your constituents and this can make some things difficult to achieve as not all of them will agree with your ideas. Some might even have better ideas.

I even know Geelong supporters who can't stand Danger...

Goldy is a unique player...we use her in a shutdown role but she's also used us an attacking take the game on option at the same time.

Colin Hay was great...got home and just finished the replay. How good was that! Will read everybody's posts tomorrow but a couple of quick thoughts. Mackin is improving with every game and super important tonight. How good will she be when she learns the game. Gillard is surprising me, another improving with each game. Bannan! that 6 bounce run was insane. Then add the rest of her game. X-factor plus. That was a free to Hore at the end...Randall dived and took her legs out.

The addition of Mackin and Goldy to the round one side makes us stronger. Also the experimentation with Heath during the season gives us a lot more versatility. ...and almost forgot giving Harris a run in the ruck has been a great move.

Give it a break 'Nev'.... ...so you're not the slightest bit concerned that nothing has been communicated on the new facility? If not, do you have some inside info that things are all on track? ...or is it just blind faith?

I think it gets bumped ever time we hear of another club upgrading their facilities. A few weeks back it was Brisbane now it seems to be Adelaide and here is us still crickets.... Nothing to do with Lawrence I would think.

You don't think there is a problem here? Personally haven't been up in arms about it as I've thought we had it in hand. ...however the longer it goes without any news I feel a little concerned and that concern is growing.

Not staff...board members and other hangers on. It's fine to have a roped off area for players and FD staff as we don't have any changing rooms at the paddock. Don't worry, if it happens again I will make my feelings heard on the day.

Going to miss this one (always knew I should have got the Saturday night tickets for Colin Hay instead of the Friday), will have a late night watching the replay.

Of course she didn't. Even the commentators didn't know until after the game so there was no way known Daisy would have. As you say, she played is the way they played the game and it was the right call.

Really proud of the girls...what a great season they've had. Well coached and well led on field. Some real pluses are Goldy running into some form, Zanker starting to realise her ability and Heath on ball and as a tagger. Special mention to Makin who is getting better by the game, really works hard back and forward from her wing. We're set up for a good finals campaign, let's hope we can go all the way this time.

Yep, I know you don't bag them on here and probably have mistaken that at times for going along with the status quo. I also know you are a passionate supporter.... The noms I still don't get but anyway it is what it is and we move on to what should be a successful 2023...

I think your reaction of the face palm on this comment was childish. Can you tell me why the needed to raise the nomination limit to 20 members? It doesn't make any sense to me...but I guess you're happy to go along with whatever the board put up. I mean it's not a big deal, but if not then why?

I've never met Peter Lawrence and wouldn't know him if I fell over him. There's a couple of things I don't like here. One is how he has been misrepresented. ...and the other the blind loyalty to a board who should not be above criticism. I well remember the CS days (some here had blind loyalty to that administration) and understand we must remain vigilant or could quite easily head back there again. EFC were set for a dynasty in 2000 and what happened?
