The Rise and Fall of VFL Park
I used to like the view at Waverley... Also used to park up at the Wheelers Hill Hotel and walk down to the ground. A long walk back when you lost but at least there was a pot and parma to be had before heading home..

Tasmanian AFL Team
I think in the end it's going to be about listening to the people. Their vote will count. If they think there are more important issues than getting an AFL team so be it.

CASEY: Practice Match vs Coburg
Could they be looking at him as coverage for Bowey???

NON-MFC: Round 01
2 interesting games on today and both on at around the same time this evening. Day time snore fests...

Sure to play next week then...

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs
Not at all...we just didn't have players available for that game. BBB, Tommy and Woey all needed a run under the belt plus Pickett wasn't available with suspension. Then add in a couple of injuries. With a fit list maybe Tomo is the only one dropped that may have been picked, but if Disco was available I doubt he would have played either.

Good news week (positive news only)
Collingwood went well tonight...

NON-MFC: Round 01
The umpires could have a say in this by the end of the game. They gave it a good go at the end of the 3rd...

And he's right about this.
I think Max needs to show it doesn't effect him in a negative way. If he lifts to another level then I can't see teams trying it on any longer. Unfortunately it works and they will keep doing it. Someone mentioned it and it may have been you 'Red' but if they try and body him he should come in with a raised knee. A few of them around the ribs will soon make you back off. As for around the ground there isn't a lot teammates can do, maybe the odd block here and there. I would definitely look at targeting an opposition player for the same treatment though... The AFL will get sick of the look soon enough and change the rules, that will suit us anyway.

2024: Defensive set up vs offensive balance
I think we will and have done this but only when we have our forward line back. To me it would be a recipe for disaster with the current line up. We were starting to do it last year when Petty was up and about for a few games.

Read and comprehend what I've said a number of times. I've answered your questions. I get annoyed at your constant misquoting, like where have I ever said we don't have a forward issue?

Let me just put this here...

“Switching”
- CASEY: Practice Match vs Port Melbourne
There is no doubt Jackson has been a big loss... Hogan would be really handy now but I think we did well in the trade. I'm not sure we sold the farm but I get your point.- And he's right about this.
Yep, but we don't have them or anyone to play those roles at the moment. ...and we didn't have Koz. - CASEY: Practice Match vs Port Melbourne
