You have no understanding of the situation obviously. He never wanted the addresses in the first place, he was asking for the club to send out the information.

mmm
-
?

The whole thing would have been easier with less pain and cost if the club had facilitated his communication to members. It was the right thing to do.
-
I would be happy with 4 and dropping the cap on rotations significantly. That would minimise the issue with injuries.
-
I'm waiting for the coaches to start wingeing about how unfair it is if they get an injury early on and are one man down. ...so then we will get a 5 man bench and injury sub. ...but then the cry will be about how some are abusing it and it's not fair. ...then we will go to a 6 man bench. ....but then. Anyway, you get the idea.

Interesting read...I guess we knew this anyway. https://www.womens.afl/news/110449?_ga=2.147689975.1738527483.1666704721-2020571945.1662186548

Has he gone yet?
-
I hated this 'Tim'..it was a rubbish and elitist idea. I hope they've done away with it.
-
You've got your sums wrong 'Pennant'... Surely with 2 dodgy knees it's 2x4 flags and 2x 300 games. So I'll be expecting 8 flags and the first player to reach 600+ games.
-
Very, we could only dream that things worked this way.
-
Looking forward to this one 'BDA'...hopefully the weather holds and we can build that percentage.
-
I don't think there has been a run of candidates has there? either genuine or time wasters. Reminds me a bit of 'The West Wing' in the first season where legislating against flag burning became a big issue. Bartlett said something along the lines of 'Have I missed something here or has there been a spate of flag burning recently'... In the constitutional changes put forward the only thing that made any sense to me was being able to vote electronically, thus saving a lot of time, energy and money.

Firstly, I agree that on field performance is the most important thing. Also that Peter Lawrence's approach was misguided. ...but why would the board want to change the threshold from 2 to 20? just doesn't make sense... I don't think it's that easy... The last time we had to do this the AFL & AD had to get involved. Thanks goodness they did.
-
I'm not saying he or anyone else has. ...but if you are calling for accountability on the home base proposal (as the poster I was answering was) then it doesn't make sense to give those who are not providing the answers any extra power.
-
Not an attack....but if the lessons of history aren't learned there is always the danger of repeating them. Maybe cause for thought. I don't remember where you sat at this time of the clubs history but no matter what, I think it is worth considering how things can go pear shaped pretty quickly when you accept the status quo.

'@Lord Nev'?
-
Well, you've just voted for them to dodge accountability. They can dodge it for as long as their term now lasts and good luck in getting up a rival candidate.
-
Can't remember but were you a Schwab supporter in your previous Demonland incarnation?
-
I like your thinking on this 'No10'...
-
You're not that stupid 'Nev'...you know full well that AGM's are stage managed.
-
and not the board... About time you've finally awoken from your slumber old son. I can't see why on such an important issue we are not given a range of views. Why do we get spoon fed what the board want us to vote for. Do they think their case is not strong enough to mount a solid argument? Or do they think we are too stupid to make the right call?
-
The board haven't obtained data through appropriate means and they aren't the club. Their job is to oversee the club. I would think it appropriate that they allow the club to facilitate a flow of information to members when important issues come to a vote. That would seem good governance. What do they have to hide? Wouldn't it be better if the arguments of the different cases were fairly put before us members so as we can make an informed decision?
-
It's pretty obvious you have an agenda here 'Lord' If the board were open and transparent to start with this whole thing never would have gone to court. They haven't been and that's a cause for concern.
-
Like to have seen them do it on their own...they didn't and that's the point. Without a strong list, many of those who played in winning game to get us there we fail. The season is more than just one game...it's a season. Anyway, won't argue any longer otherwise I will get your 'Lord' impersonation.
