  1. I've thought of doing it in passing. Put up an old photo of Barassi and post the absolute dumbest [censored] I can think of, but I reckon Nasher would catch me out and who has the time anyway? Maybe in 50 years I'll spend all day trolling messageboards while I'm waiting for kids to ride past to throw turds at.
  2. I'm really starting to doubt you're a real person and not a computer running an inane post generator.
  3. Goodwin: "What are you, Jake?" Milkshake: "Filling a roll!"
  4. Seems the complete opposite of how we're handling the Howe situation. "I think Jake probably had his heart set on going to St Kilda. That may be where he still wishes to go but Hawthorn is a good option," Dodoro told NAB AFL Trade Radio. "I'm sure he'd prefer to go to Hawthorn than to go into the pre-season draft." Such a dickmove, but [censored] I'm jealous. Carlisle's elected to move to the Saints and the bombers are just going yeah mate, Hawthorn's the go hey. If the Suns offer a better deal, god damn it, get him to the Suns.
  5. Go away Bastinac, you're tainted.
  6. Eddie's stated that he wanted to stay at the blues and would've for less money than the crows are paying him, but they lowballed him and wouldn't offer contract security. Worked out better for him anyway.
  7. Totally agree, was thinking this today. I hate North Melbourne.
  8. Ordinarily I'd agree, but Carlton's recruiting and trading has been a complete mess over the past couple of years (or longer). They've completely fluked it with Cripps and are hanging every single hat they have on his head. Can't say I'm heaps excited by Casboult as a player, but I'm not at all concerned with Carlton putting him on the table. Aside from their terrible ability to recognise talent, they have very little of value to offer up for trade. I imagine they're hoping someone takes him on potential and pays overs to allow them to bring in more superstars like Jaksch and Liam Jones.
  9. His aerobic capacity is too good to spend all his time hanging around 30 metres in front of goal. He's obviously a nightmare contested marking match-up already, but if it's coupled with having to chase him around all day it becomes ridiculous. Means the opposing team either have to play two defenders on him, one to keep up with him and one to put the body in 30m out, or just let him roam free once he's outside the 50 thinking at least he's not kicking goals.
  10. Apparently still hasn't been offered a new contract by GWS, so I'd expect a third rounder or exchange of picks would get it done. Latest source I could find other than bigfooty is from late August: http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/afl/gws-is-yet-to-offer-tom-bugg-a-contract-could-force-him-to-move-to-rival-club/story-fnp04d6z-1227493643573
