Wow....I thought demonland was where everybody could state their opinion and not be personally insulted for having that opinion. It appears that Stuie does not get that same consideration.

You said that he embarrassed the club and the jumper more than any other player in the last 20 years. That's what I pulled you up on I watch a lot of footy over the weekends and I see a lot of other sides making mistakes, causing turnovers, missing team mates with short kicks. etc etc It happens all the time. We notice our players doing it and that's all we remember......We tend not to see the good things our players do.

So how does he keep getting a game if he is so bad....Maybe the football dept see a bit more than you. Ever since his manager put talks on hold, Howe has been attacked on here .....Just ANOTHER whipping boy for supporters? to vent their frustrations on.

Gee....Every club goes through this at this time of the year....Down at Geelong they have prem players that are going to be told that they must go. We are no different. No player wants to be told that this is the end of their playing career. Every player thinks their have just ONE more year left in them. I really like Cross but the club had to make a decision going forward and to go out when your playing OK footy.

Just going through our list and was astounded to see how few games some of our players have played. I know some won't make it and I know other side have similar but I have listed players that have not got to 50 games yet. You are right Steve.........But you know Demonland.......If someone has a bit of a off year, Trade em.... Everybody says "Develop the players" but only give them one year.....If they can't be champ by then.....Cut them off the list OR Trade MacKenzie, M Jones etc for Pendlebury Ablett,Fyffe et al I hate the silly season.....It is about to come in two weeks and I have to read about all the wishful trades that have not a hope in hell of coming off. It has already started in the media and the finals are still two weeks away.

I'm as disappointed with the last two weeks as I could have been, like every other supporter, but I can't believe the reaction of supporters. Bloody hell the answer is not sack Nathan Jones (3 time B&F winner)has had 2 really bad games but has given a hell of a lot to the club and will again. When will people learn that players are human and have ups and downs in their lives. Are we becoming like Richmond supporters and burning our memberships in the microwave? or dumping chicken [censored] at the club? Are we better than last year?....Yes Are we in the bottom four?.....No Have we beaten Collingwood, Richmond, Geelong, Bulldogs(most heading for finals)?.....Yes Have we had some very disappointing losses?.....Yes Did the sun come up this morning?.........Yes it did. I understand that this is the place to vent your anger but really some of the comments are like 4 year olds tossing out the toys from the cot and temper tantrums. Well....I know I am in the minority but I hate the red jumper but I also hate the coaching staffs red polo tops. Would much prefer the navy blue apparel they used to wear when Daniher was coaching. I would also ask why we are compelled to wear alternative jumper when we played Richmond in our traditional jumpers. It just doesn't make much sense to me, even with black and white TV I didn't have a problem distinguishing between clubs even on muddy grounds. Oh well, I guess nobody else gives a stuff.....The club....the AFL....All except Collingwood supporters

The good thing about Roosy is that he provides stability when the wheels fall off. If we had a more low profile coach, The whole world would be calling for blood and the coach and club would be under great pressure and the club would be in turmoil. We have seen some great football this season with win against Geelong, Collingwood. Richmond, W Bulldogs, (Roos called a saviour) We have also seen some horrible losses against Hawthorn and Bulldogs St Kilda and Essendon. (Roos called a dud) This was always going to be a year of ups and downs.

Dawes gets more I would guess....Is he more value to the team this year? Nobody knows how much any player on our list gets....It's all guess work by media and supporters when money is mentioned. We have to pay the cap to some one....
