It doesn't matter who we picked in the draft. It's how we develop the kids to be good AFL players. Something we haven't been able to do for years. If our development is spot on, we will see that the draft was brilliant. If not then it will be the same old story.

Should be a good morning for training. Partly cloudy and temperatures at about 17 - 20 in the morning. I think I'll be there. I have Man Flu at the moment and don't want to spread the germ around. I may stand over on the Punt Road side no one goes there.

All the mid field must have been given the 100 - 100's HL was seen at vic park doing them. Encouraged by his girlfriend telling him it's not good enough do more. Viv Michie has also done it. He is wrapped the mid field is so strong. Everyone is pushing each other along. He is very fit and is confident he can land a mid field / flank position to call his own.

Mahoney has been saying that we must continue to look at the best training facilities. AAMI Park has great facilities but even those will need upgrading in the not too distant future. They must be always on the lookout for a suitable area to set up their own non-share facility. I nice piece of crown land for peppercorn rental would be a good start.

In the days of Television rights I can't see the AFL having a part fixture then having a separate fixture for the last 6 games.Clubs need time to organise interstate travel and training I think it becomes a logistical night mare.

If that guy hasn't got Toumpas and Viney In the list ahead of Salem, then he hasn't attended many training sessions.
