Clarke smears himself. Cannot take a joke or handle different personalities. He is a great batsman on a flat track under no pressure but he is no skipper. How can you leave a tour just because you have found out Fev was rooting your Fiance? His countless issues with other players shows he is a little sook . Clarke has failed so many times to step up to the leadership role(which involves more than saying the right things to James Sutherland)that he should be sacked . We will be 2-0 after tonight. Dermie took it upon himself to personally coach Watts through the game which became very tiring.The more Derm tries to seem intelligent, the stupider he looks. Also-Grimes wasn't good last night-he was average, and Rich beat him. Hanley carved us up as did Rockliffe. We are falling down in the Ruck but must keep big Max up there while he learns. Toumpas had a bad day and can be forgiven . Byrnes is slowing up our list development and is not half as good as Rodan. Jetta might get Toumpas' spot next week, and a last chance to prove he can play.

Garland was great but he cost us at least goal before he went off with a bad kick and a soft free paid against. Byrnes was reasonable but is not going to be the answer for us long term which means he is arresting development for others. We carried Toumpas all night. There is scope for improvement.

Strauss and Jetta are two guys at Casey who will stay on the list i reckon . They can do that kicking thing when the ball spins properly and hits a team mate on the chest . Joel mac ,Jodie, Nicho ,etc have seen them do it but cant quite follow suit . Davis and Barry will stay. Taggert ,Tynan , Couch ,Magner etc are the midfield types that wont make it in AFL.

We've always been a refuge for washed up Liberals. At least he is a Melbourne supporter. However, I would prefer someone a bit younger personally, with less of a history in liquifying assets and calling it profit. Someone who can relate to those of us under 60 who have never seen a flag. I don't have any nominations but the baby boomer generation have done enough damage-get off the pot. Bring in the yoof!
