  1. I got there about 11am and watched from the punt rd end. First training I've seen under Roos and co and to reiterate the obvious it was all ball use and game-time simulations rather than athelitics and Roos was so much more involved than Neeld. enjoyed watching. saw miller kick the ball 70 metres to another couch. I was surprised by Watts and how fit he looked. Trenners is a beautiful running kick, Toumpas was training like his life depended on it - very vocal and it seemed Bernie is a cut above at the moment - fast, agile, great kicking accuracy. Cross was also giving his all. I saw Bail kick a running pass straight into Cross (?) 's hands. Also saw Bleasey getting a lot of the ball in the semi match Sims. Pedo, Georgio and Michie were feeling the running. good to see them look like a real footy club. fits looks pretty fit - didn't see any other forwards. every time Chip got the ball all the players were vocal - making him want to stay??
  2. The young man is as frustrated as we are. Won't even be training for at least two weeks.

  4. I'm surprises you guys could see that much. The ground is quite flat so I struggled to see who was who. Bloody warm down there and the parking was utter chaos
  5. ANyone know who you call if you've had an erection for longer than 3 hours?
  6. Lord Roos has delivered his first sermon for the faithful...
  7. Hello no - Vince had a 90% kicking efficiency. Name another dee that has had that in recent times! Jay Kennedy Harris - your going on my list of favourite players. What an exciting young kid.
  8. Great to be back at the dawning of a new pending season of footy and for once some great signs.
  9. Ah good to see the historical revisionists have fired up to sell us opinion as fact. We are talking about a bloke who targeted a key forward with big money (Dawes) whom I rate but at a time when we had no functioning midfield and then said in his pressers that he was surprised by how bad we were. No midfield and a list good at running around the tan. That was of course after he came in and immediately subjected two of the clubs leaders to a barrage of abuse and effectively lost them. Not saying these particular players were that important but clearly there was mo one to fill the void when they retired/moved clubs. Much more went on during the recent history of the club than has been made public or that some of you clearly know. He had a crack but it is what it is... But we did get Clark,Hogan and mow Roos as a consequence and frankly I'm as interested about reading posts on Neeld's time as I am about Balme's time
  10. Mark neeld's appointment was an elaborate tanking agenda that the club knew would deliver Paul Roos? Seriously we've heard all the stories - players in tears during bakes, the Brad Green story, the Brent Moloney story, the game day autocrat stories, the run in with either Viney Snr or Rawlings depending on who u hear it from, etc, etc, but it really serves no purpose to rehash these issues now. We got what we wanted and needed. good to see fame day footy training rather than more laps around the tan. Hoping trenners can have a crack this year instead of spending the whole season focusing on stupid maximum weights.
  11. Fitzpatrick kicked four goals in at least one AFL game in a losing side with appalling inside fifty delivery. Show some respect.
  12. Hogan - well I think u have some idea why; Tyson because I'm told he oozes leadership and I want to see that on the field. michie - I think he'll be valuable but time will tell. viney - he'll have a point to prove and he's angry toumpas - when this kid gets some confidencee his run and carry will blow us all away.
  13. Forget those guys, focus on the newbies and lord Hogan.
  14. As others have said, he and his dad are mad Dees supporters and go to many games.
  15. most are. I talk to one of his close school friends regularly.
  16. Lol - I was asked to write that by the guy next to me at work as a joke on someone he knows who reads this forum (and who was going to reply?). by pure chance I'm Facebook friends with a school friend of Hogans. I have no idea if he is good friends with Dom or not but I can find out. this guy tells me that sheed is a lock at pick 9 but he also told me other stuff that didn't pan out. sorry guys
  17. [quote name="Ben-Hur" post=" Btw, I love it how posters say they've "heard" stuff. They're usually embarrassed to say where. Rightly so in most cases.
  18. Just what I heard but from a guy at work who isn't a fantastic source to be honest.
