http://m.melbournefc.com.au/news/2014-08-31/every-melbourne-player-tradeable-roos The quote hear from Roosey doesnt surprise given the whispers around. so if we might expect some trade surprises this off season anyone dare to speculate? Presume contract status may not be decisive? The three 't's' from SA heading home? Watts to pies?

GOODBYE MR. CHIP FRAWLEY
Norm Smith's Curse replied to JackVineyForPresident's topic in Melbourne Demons
Dont be fooled - Roos is playing - calling his bluff. He knows he wont stay given its now rebuild 3.0. Fattenning the calf although his attitude may have hampered. one if many players waiting for someone else to improve us. Will be one of a few that leave as Roos will nit hesitate to make any trade for sentimentality. -
No endless threads on which players each member wants immediately delisted? No three word season analysis of the season of each player on the list?
-
Yeah i like the potential of this guy.

'Im just going up there for a look'

I expect we may say two trade shocks this off season - the unthinkable will be thought. and thanks for keeping your seat warm frawley...
-
No way! Slow and worsening. His manager said he'd sooner take a year off footy than get picked up by us.
-
I heard we want Malcheski
-
Not surprised at all. Terlich is a bigger body and now has some afl experience. His signing tells me that Clisby will be delisted. Bail - yes his kicking has been terrible at times and you could argue not getting the ball at all like Tappie or others might do less damage than turnovers that result in goals but he runs all day, is as fit as they cone, spreads, keeps to his opponent but above all else he PLAYS HIS ROLE. Riley had no preseason and still looks alright. Give him a chance. As to the comments 'you cant turn over more than seven players' the answer is my word you can when you are as bad as we are. neeld marched 12 in his first season - you can take on free agents you can trade for low draft picks, etc.

I overheard a comment that 'everyone is up for trade' but that it might be to 'shake them up'

Frawley Form Could Mean No First Round Draft Pick

I have no evidence of this but surely this explains his performance. Roos should make a statement and drop him. -

How can a team that finished the highest of any victorian club 8 years ago be associated with decades of mediocrity? We still have 12 flags...But in some ways a lot of our problems are bad luck - Wonna, Jurrah, Clark,- 2 replies

Jack Watts Keep or Trade ?? The Poll
Norm Smith's Curse replied to beelzebub's topic in Melbourne Demons
What i mean is some of the players have talent, most have been relied on too early and have poor confidence, have no confidence in each other and have suffered from no real leaders on the field - end result is only a start again approach is really going to fix it. -
All from "186" Maybe need to be GONE!
Norm Smith's Curse replied to 66frank's topic in Melbourne Demons
This is the problem with Melbourne - when we try to get ruthless we do it with the wrong blokes like Jnr and then hold on to players like Sylvia and Johnstone for far too long (dare I say it a few now) and players on past glories. Frawley has been ordinary for two seasons for mine and any other club would have traded him already when he had currency. -
Jack Watts Keep or Trade ?? The Poll
Norm Smith's Curse replied to beelzebub's topic in Melbourne Demons
id actually rather keep him myself but id trade many others quickly. In some ways i worry that the whole dynamic of the team is wrong for what ever reason and only new personnel willfix it. -
Anyone else hearing from reputable sources that basically every player on our current list could potentially be up for trade?
-
Its a strange feeling - actually being able to trust that your team will be competitive in games and ... may even have a chance to win... What's it been? 4-5 years?
-
Barrett not only reads this, I'm certain he gets his trade rumours from here as well... It will be debated for the next ten years? Only in your kitchen at home champ. Carn the dees! Anyone who doubted cant now!

Due to daddy duties I havent seen a minute of the game so I wont read the posts here yet until i watch the replay tonight. Saw the score and all I can say is: 1. what medication works the opposite to Viagra? and 2.

At the end of the game I had the following thoughts: 1. When hPaul Roos was signed as Melb coach I never thought that at round 5 the most improved players under his tenure would include Pederson, Dunn and Matt Jones. 2. I also never thought that our side might be better without Watts, Trenners, the Toump and Grimes in it still under Paul Roos. Watts has to learn to turn it on when he is off. Does Howe have more to his game? Is Matt Jones continually under-rated? Are Dunn, Cross and Pederson the most trustworthy and accountable players on our list at the moment?
