Tappy and his tattoo free body say "howdy do silly boy"

I have "bought in" to the Wines/Viney partnership and I am invested emotionally in this duo eventuating. I will actually be very sad if Wines gets taken before our pick. In my mind it's Viney with his mate kicking arse for us for a decade. Please nobody take him! Take that photo of him with his muscles down. Stop promoting him let's keep this under wraps!

Why struggle when you can do what any normal person would do and investigate him. Start with a website called youtube.com there's a few clips on there and it's all we can go by since he hasn't had many games. FWIW he looks quite a good player. He can take a grab, is courageous, has good skills. I know it's a clip against Port adelaid but if he can reproduce that form for us he will be extremely handy. Better than Martin and Sellar so for me that is a good thing. -
Eh. Settle down- they replaced Dawes with Lynch and Wellingham with Young which is kind of a break even result, and they get pick 17 and 18 or whatever it is. Both picks could be busts. Maybe Anyway I wouldn't say they kicked the trade week's arse. We are the masters of this trade period so far

You're way out of line. I genuinely believe he left to chase success, and having served us for most of his football career, he is definitely one who has earned that right! Save your misdirected vitriol for someone who actually deserves it. Someone who leaves after no time served and no buy in. Someone with a fat dad Your views on Jared's departure are moronic and immature. wake up to yourself

Bex time fella.

I disagree with your thoughts. Well some of them anyway

Yep, you'd have to say that Morton and Davey are on "death row" and there doesn't ook to be a stay of execution on the cards either.

Someone hates us. Excuse me while I go get the kleenex and build a forte in my room. Nah, it's all good. At least we are relevant enough to be hated. The guy has a secret hard-on for us, he notices us. Hopefully many more media "gurus" and opposition supporters hate us too. It means they fear and respect us. And they will.

Dom Barry. Granted all I've seen of him (like the majority of us) is a 2 minute highlight package, but in this highlight package I see a guy who has incredible pace and dare I say it, an elite kick. Obviously, like every new recruit it will take time to assess what role they may be suited to, but I can see him earning a spot in the 22, and I see no reason why that can't be an outside mid over time. I believe we have two other options for outside mids currently on our list. They are Blease and Nicholson- Blease lacks the tank and Nicholson lacks the foot skills but both have that speed to break away from the packs. If they can work on their shortcomings we could end up with 3 legitimate options to fill an outside mid role. Failing that we use our first round pick from 2013 and use it on the best mid (outside) that we can find. I honestly feel that whilst compared to most rival's mids we still fall short- we are bridging the gap quite rapidly. Next year we will at least be competitive with most mids, we will still get smashed by many. 2014 however- an extra preseason for our current mids and a year under the belt for Viney/Wines, (?) another early first rounder and the inclusion of Hogan (although not a mid,) and we start winning a lot more. From there the sky is the limit. Go Dees!

Yeah I've learned a lesson from the Cook experience; don't draft pissweak spuds.
-
Exactly. I would be calling him [censored] quite a bit. Hope he doesn't cook meth though.
-
This guy does move a little like Buddy, it would be great if we could pick him up with a compo pick (if we have a late second rounder) because if he can be half as good as Buddy we have an excitement machine on our hands. His highlights package shits all over Cook's, and we used #12 on him, so..

I'd consider it if he changed his first name to Walter, so I can scream "Mr White yo!" at the football.

There are many words that begin with "c" and I'm hoping for only two of them! -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRIS DAWES

I think I've moved on from Tom now, I mean the conniving little lying [censored] has actually produced us with a net gain at the end of the day. But I can't wait for that first bone jarring crunch. Would love to see him knock the stuffing out of Goddard, such a face you'd want to punch. always hated that guy for some reason! -
I think you underrate Howe. He is much more than a player with brilliant hands. He has a dip, is an on field leader and if his set shot kicking was better, I dare say he could be considered very close to star potential.
-
Ideally I'd like to see him spend most of his time in the forward line, with hands like his it would be negligent not to have him close to goals mr Adam

At the time of Neeld's appointment the holes in our list were obvious- we had no forward target, very scarce midfield class and no rebounding defender. I feel those were our holes. The forward line now has targets; Clark, Dawes, Hogan (2014) and Byrnes. Holes plugged, forward line fixed. The midfield now has Viney and pick #4 (hopefully Wines) and possibly a trade which is yet to happen. Although still a work in progress the addition of Viney and pick 4 should not be underestimated. All of a sudden Jones isn't the sole target of the opposition, and if Trengove can find his burst again our midfield is back to being at least competitive. The midfield holes aren't plugged yet, but they are definitely on our way. Midfield mended and on the improve. The backline has been seen by many to be the strongest line in our team. We have a mix to cover most forward lines and with the revelation which has been Tommy Mac, and Watts new found form as a floating backman of sorts, we now find ourselves with an embarrassment of riches tall backs. Rivers can be considered excess stock now. I feel we still lack a genuine small back that can break lines and shut down opposition smalls. I don't think we have this covered right now, although I can see Barry doing this. Much water to go under the bridge before we can assess that though. So in my view the only holes in our list right now is a rebounding small back with pace and accuracy, and one or two more classy mids. I think 3 holes now (1 defender 2 classy mids), as opposed to 8 (IMO) when Neeld started is much better. There aren't as many holes in our bucket dear Liza anymore.

If the season was different and we snagged a couple more wins and the Dog's finished below us then they would have probably participated in the MD and taken Hogan, they would have had a better bargaining chip for Dawes and they probably would have bid on Viney. This draft could have been their saving grace, instead it's ours. Ironically being just a little bit crapper than them may have saved our skin whilst simultaneously sinking them. And they say there is no incentive to tank. Lol. Not saying we did though- but the incentive is undeniable!
-
Lol, I was wrong..

I'd offer them Martin and Petterd for pick 6 though. Pretty sure they'd tell us to get stuffed though!
