Elite endurance and excellent pace when recruited, 3 years later a plodder. Even our development program isn't that bad! I smell a rat. He was playing under duress and I feel that that duress has contributed to his fractured foot. How many times did he look like he needed a spell last year, and yet he was continually played in a team where his presence made no difference. Now he misses out on the NT trip and a good chunk of an important preseason. Not too happy about this, clear case of player mismanagement for mine.

I've always liked McChins and if he was our president we would not be in this. I really believe this. As this [censored] gets deeper I think we will see many more opposition figure heads come out and defend us, in a way they are defending their own clubs too. This is certainly gaining momentum, as long as the findings are after we use pick 4 I will be relieved. All I want to do is take full advantage of this draft and then deal with the repercussions latter. If those repercussions are a board spill then so be it. I don't care what heads roll as long as we aren't penalized with the loss of draft picks. I have a feeling the AFL are on the same page bezlebub; they recognize something has to be done about this and penalizing us as a club opens up too many ramifications. Punishing an individual or individuals satisfies their need for atonement without a long drawn out sordid affair. Who is going to get the chop? Don't care.

I don't agree with what you said at all. Pick 4 wasn't a handout for being crap, it was Scully compo. If we weren't crap it still would have been attatched to our first round pick. It wasn't a handout, it was compensation. How is that not clear? Anyway it's a non issue. Whoever organised this "vault" bulltish is going to find themselves our of a career. Good. Incompetance such as this should not go unpunished.

I think putting all our foibles aside, someone out there has an axe to grind with us and are doing their best to sabotage and bring us down. We must find who this is and severe all links IMMEDIATELY. We must also find the rats (if they are still employed by the club) and exterminate them IMMEDIATELY with no exceptions. Status or reputation must be ignored. I don't understand your point. The original poster was intimating that the AFL gave us pick 4 because we were crap and taking it off us would go against their judgment. It is not that way at all- pick 4 represents our after first round pick compo for Scully. The fact that it is pick 4 is a comment on how crap we were. It wasn't a handout.

Pick 4 was compo for Scully, had nothing to do with us being crap.

I can't help but keep thinking that these morons have absolutely no idea about the concept of a vault- once it goes in, it stays in! When you put something in a vault it is understood that that information stays with you for eternity. Why have a 10 person vault? This [censored] is ridiculous and if this was happening to another club I would be laughing my arse off. We are a laughing stock. If we are stripped of picks I will be doing my part- and that is making my viewpoints heard through any form of media I can, will also gladly attend any mass rally! Our only mistake was being stupid enough to involve so many people in what should only have been whispered about and alluded to. If we get taken down I will donate whatever I can to a legal battle and save whatever I can when the AFL from that moment forward decide to withdraw from helping us out so much.
