  1. They will react the way any Scully fan would react I'd imagine- outraged. But that doesn't mean they have egg on their faces. It means they were open to all possibilities until official confirmation was available. Unless you have spoken to Scully or someone with first hand information (not detached) you wont know for sure. You are simply putting 2 and 2 together. All signs point to him leaving, but I don't have my head in the sand because I am waiting for official confirmation.
  2. Because he is old and an impending retirement is easier to read than an early defection. In any case Power retiring isn't as sensitive as the Scully issue.
  3. I think people just like to gloat about having sources so it appears that they are in the know, and in some kind of circle of knowledge. It's just big noting yourself. If the information was credible and from THE source and not second hand, then surely the intimate relationship between source and messanger would ensure confidentiality. Until I see Scully in a filthy GWS shirt I couldn't give a [censored] which distant nobody has heard stuff about Scully
  4. That self imposed Tom Scully thread ban lasted all of 5 minutes lol, like a moth to a pretty blue light I am back! And the profile pic isn't me it was from the Internet. Although I agree, what a hottie hey? Hurry the [censored] up Tom! Clocks a ticking.
  5. Agree- they have Raph Clarke, Dawson, Gilbert, Kosi and an ineffectual Reiwoldt. Their list is average. If they didn't have "the tip rat" they would have been even worse this year.
  6. Will there ever be a boy born, who can swim faster than a shark?

  7. Lol, on Twitter they said he looked like Grug! They referred to Steven Milne as "the tip rat" at half time on the TAB betting ad, I found that funny.
  8. LOL! And with that beautiful poem comes the conclusion of the stalker like obsession with this thread. The balls in your court Tom. Stop being such a [censored] tease and let us know already!
  9. It's either an official statement or it's hearsay. Every time someone claims to be good friends with a GWS official etc all I hear is Scully's best friend's brother in law's brother's dog's attorney etc etc. If it's out there Joe Smith from Demonland isn't going to be breaking the news. No offense.
  10. Yeah, he should have chosen a coach that would have guaranteed us success. What a pill! If we can't get a premiership coach (which still doesn't guarantee success) we will have no choice but to go for an assistant, and if we were to go that route it might as well be Viney- He will instill toughness on our boys. And that's what we need most.
  11. Everyone always talks about trading Morton and a pick, but none of you understand Morton aint no sweetner. The Swans would laugh at Morton. They play tough football and on that he will never get a game. And no on White. I'd prefer to wait for Cook.
  12. Bitter OP. You hate life and hate everything, we get it lol! Hawthorn have rocked up to the pokemon battle with nothing but a retarded Giggly-puff. Woe is them. Playing finals and sucking and stuff. We're going not bad.
  13. I think the loss of Scully on field can be covered by a fit Gysberts, and although I haven't seen young Viney play, from all reports he will be a brilliant acquisition. So should we lose him from an on field perspective I don't think we'll suffer that much. He is only one player, and if losing one player is going to [censored] our premiership window chances we were no chance to begin with. Just wish they'd bloody hurry up with the decision because I'm sick of this website being my homepage lately!
  14. It's either one of the high profile targets, or Viney and a well credentialed assistant or two. Surely we can't still be playing musical chairs.. We want a coach with premiership experience- they are out there- but not exactly available at this point in time. I think it's going to be either Lyon, Malthouse- or a Viney/Craig/Eade combination. We need a coach who can instill some toughness into this team and Viney can do that. So for mine it's either landing the "big fish" or recruiting a few new assistants and retaining Viney. How is the car phone warehouse treating you these days Darren Lamb LOL =P
