I think the loss of Scully on field can be covered by a fit Gysberts, and although I haven't seen young Viney play, from all reports he will be a brilliant acquisition. So should we lose him from an on field perspective I don't think we'll suffer that much. He is only one player, and if losing one player is going to [censored] our premiership window chances we were no chance to begin with. Just wish they'd bloody hurry up with the decision because I'm sick of this website being my homepage lately!

It's either one of the high profile targets, or Viney and a well credentialed assistant or two. Surely we can't still be playing musical chairs.. We want a coach with premiership experience- they are out there- but not exactly available at this point in time. I think it's going to be either Lyon, Malthouse- or a Viney/Craig/Eade combination. We need a coach who can instill some toughness into this team and Viney can do that. So for mine it's either landing the "big fish" or recruiting a few new assistants and retaining Viney.
