How bad will the competitions integrity appear if there was a major drug and a major tanking/match-fixing controversy happening concurrently. Surely if the AFL can avoid that situation, it will.

I just want to say what a delight this off-season has turned out to be. The way the blowtorch has been taken off us and placed squarely on Essendrug's and now Martin's nut-sacks is a quite a beautiful little twist; It's one I didn't see coming but like all good twists it leaves the viewer satisfied. I am satisfied. Ban Essendrug and Martin for 2 years minimum and let's play ball!

Anyway no sympathy from me; I want all Essendrug supporters from infants to seniors to weep over the demise of their club. They deserve it. I'll be here with my popcorn, waiting for sanctions- which I hope are swift and severe. I'm hoping 2 years out of the competition. Failing that, 5 years of no premiership points and only allowed to participate in rookie drafts. This would be enough to make me a very happy person
