Good point- if the VCGLR can run investigations separate to the AFL why don't we petition for them to investigate Carlton if the spineless Demitriou led AFL care not to? If Vlad won't listen, maybe they will. I'm still dirty on this and feel I need closure and the only way I'll get that is if we're not the only ones put through the wringer for this crap.

GC would want to hope that Jack Martin turns out to be a star because Hoges to me looks as sure a thing as you can get- where Martin has years of development to go before he can make an impact. Cost us pick #3 which ended up being inconsequential as pick #4 netted us the Toumpas. Initially I was upset we didn't get Wines because I was sold on the Viney/Wines combo but I wasn't crying about that for too long. Toumpas is what we need; speed, skill and poise. Viney at #26 was the icing. The "Norm Smith curse" is a myth.

Still another year of hard work in the gym, a year of practice at Casey and another pre-season for Hoges before he steps out round 1 2014. He can be even better. Stuff keeping a lid on things, we all deserve to get excited over something- and this is as good as anything!

Hogan, Clark and Dawes- how does an opposition back line match up on that? Throw in Howe and the odd cameo from Sylvia et all and you have a forward line that can compete with the Lyon era. All we need is a small forward ala the Wizz and were unstoppable when the ball gets there. Our next targets should be a dynamic small and a couple of classy hard midfielders. God I hope Trengove can recapture his junior form!

I feel sad for him and DB. They love this club and are the sacrificial lambs for the AFL to save face. No more of my money goes to the AFL- that means no more records and I'm not sure what else I have to sacrifice- someone tell me.

I'm a little confused. Someone please explain to me how we are not guilty of tanking, yet CC and DB are expelled from the AFL hence rendered tarnished and unemployed, the club is fined $500,000.00 when we are NOT GUILTY? Half a million bucks for a bad joke, 2 careers ruined. Conduct Unbecoming? What the f is that? How are we the scapegoat yet again?? Do we fight this on principal or do we just cop the whack on the chin? I really don't know. At this moment I am conflicted between my love of the MFC and my hatred of the AFL. Love the team, hate the organization. I feel relieved and also victimized. Bitter sweet.

We are "guilty of deliberately manipulating results" and the two games that were focused on were the Richmond and Sydney games. First of all what the f? Tynan, Taggert, Evans, Bail, Mckenzie, Strauss, Nicholson, Mcdonald, Terlich, Jones (the new one), Byrnes, Rodan, Hogan, Dawes. Players I will have my eye on for different reasons. Some to see if they have improved skills, some to see how they fit into the team and some to see if they will bring some form. The team photo's front line was all new. Every face. We have a lot of newbies to judge. I know it's only NAB cup but with so much competition for spots we should be competitive at the least.

I will happily donate to the cause. I see it as my duty, and so will many others no doubt. I want them to fight no matter what and because of that I will help out, it's not fair that the club has to wear this and that's what us supporters are here for; to support. It sucks that it might have to come to that but if it's a cost to strengthen us as a club I will not hesitate. I am happy to donate a whole weeks paycheck at the minimum, and I will get my father to double that, cos he's a nice guy
