The more I hear, the more I like. I would be willing to spend an early second rounder on him, he sounds like just what we need, and I like the idea of the Jones boys playing together- pushing each other, and the sense of brotherhood and unity this list needs. Get it done MFC or I'll be dissapointed.

I agree with all of that, and if the 'AFL say no there is nothing we can do about it, but you can not deny the power of pick 1 this year. It's going to turn this hypothetical ship you talked of in your first post around a lot faster.

Pick 1 this year is a massive bargaining chip, and we actually need it to help trade in midfield help. Roll up your sleeves all you want, the list isn't up to it. We need the PP and I don't care how we got here, we just are. Or we can just let GWS have it and watch them get stronger. Whatever. And this isn't a defeatist tanking attitude. It's real, we are crap and PP's are there to help make lists better

For once I want this club to go after the kid who punches his way out of wombs. We always go the graceful ones, the pretty swans, who if developed nicely would be a lovely player. This player is everything we need yet he has a Port jumper on and it stings!

Really hope Paul Roos and Jason Taylor pull off a fantastic recruiting period and we manage to land a couple Fyfe types in this draft, if they are available. out of interest where was Fyfe rated pre-draft, was he a slider or an unknown? All picks are so important aren't they? Fyfe with #20.. we have had how many first round picks and we no one even close to a Fyfe.

I will admit I haven't seen him play- anyone have footage? But I'm growing warmer to this brothers playing in the same team thing. Is it something that Roosey will go for? Imagine we had brothers again playing in the same team. I think it would only have a positive affect on the team having that kind of bond and the rest of the players can feed off that.
