I share your worry about all of those teams. I'm truly frightened at what Hawthorn might do to us. Typically, we'll probably get Collingwood just as they've shaken off the last of the cobwebs and they'll give us an almighty reaming.

I think that there is a bit of run left in the Melbourne/GWS gear that has happened in the last couple of years. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were willing to drip feed us a second/third year player or two for the next couple of years, in return for our top pick. They have a huge bulge of players in that bracket and know some of them will want to go home. They also know that, realistically, Melbourne will have a good pick to play with. I'd bet that something like the Dom Tyson trade will happen again and we could get another gem out of it.

I think Bail is doing enough and Spencer has no replacement, but the rest are on the money. Jones and Pedersen are (sadly) consistently in our best 7-8 players - they're going nowhere.

Pedersen absolutely has to go back - it is where his best AFL form is and he killed it last year down back in the VFL. Think we just have to suck up either Fitzpatrick being a very average back up ruck or Gawn being a very average forward. Jamar is gone and not the answer to either.
