Yeah, but name them! On the changes thread, I pointed out that probably best 22 to come in are Garland, Reilly, Kent, Clisby and Toumpas. To go, Jetta, Terlich, Bail, Byrnes. I'm not sure Watts is next in line.
-
Who do we replace him with? I still think he's best 22, but that's more a reflection of what's in the sheds.
-
I'm totally the same. I've fought and fought and fought. Not sure where to go next.
-
Realistically - how many to come in for best 22? I'd say Reilly, Kent, Toumpas, Garland, Hogan obviously and maybe, maybe Fitzpatrick and Evans. To go would probably be Byrnes, Jetta, Terlich and Bail, then Howe when Hogan is ready. So, when the guys in the first line are ready, the guys in the second line go. This week I say: In: Garland, Reilly Out: Terlich, Jetta Kent for Byrnes and Toumpas for Bail. That's about best 22 I reckon. Edit: Clisby as well. For whoever!

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure we lost to Sydney by 31 points at a different time last year...

At some point, we're going to need to learn how to kick more than 5 goals in a game. That's all.

Floodgates already? Or is not as bad as that?

Bummed that I can't watch live - how do we look structure wise?

You're the one who started a completely unnecessary argument, tiger.

Really, really sensible post. -
Good on him - Nasher's point above re taking a long time is interesting. I think Bail is firmly in the group we brought in a few years ago that could never get on the park together (Blease, Strauss, Jetta, Tapscott etc) due to injury. They all took far longer than you'd think to rack up a meaningful number of games and it really hurt team development through that time, in my view.

I thought we were arguing about improvement or lack thereof, rather than being surprised about it.
-
Surely our flag odds show that we haven't improved all that much... Just sayin.

Jack Trengove out for year with navicular fracture

God you can be tiresome. The point is that it is a complete waste of time putting Dave Misson and Matt Burgan in front of a camera and have them pretend to provide us with any meaningful information. -

Doesn't matter what any of us think about it - it was just never going to happen. -

Think you're wilfully missing the point. What I said was, I don't care what Misson says about the success or otherwise of surgery. -

So howsabout we get the surgeon on DeeTV? Can we also 'hazard a guess' that the doctors told him Clark, Dawes and Hogan were all a chance for Round 1, or did he pull that out of his bum as well? -

Very few people driving at 50 can take out three cars in a row and write them off. He would have been flying, whether drugs wise or speed wise. -

Who cares what Misson says about the success or otherwise of surgery? We've established beyond doubt he is not a doctor... -
There is no way in a million, nay, a billion years, Strauss is coming in for Watts. Or Grimes.
