  15. Botton six players can have a remarkable effect on a grand final. And ours are much superior to theirs.

  17. STEPHEN SMITH, NOEL MCMAHEN, CLYDE LAIDLAW, ANTHONY MCDONALD, HARRISON PETTY (LUKE TAPSCOTT)
  18. I would be putting in a call to Raymond Reddington.
  19. Bit rich for Triple Chins and Ross 'Duplicitous' Lyon giving advise on how to win grand finals.
  20. Age and games played doesn't necessarily mean leadership, or experience for that matter. Exactly what a developing club doesn't need. Hope he ends up at the Filth then!
  21. Have Max present it to himself. The only bloke in the comp that could pull that off.
  22. Ph*&k. Thought the premiership was going to be a cake walk. Really MFCSS'd. Be happy to escape with the four points.
  23. Monday: speak with my psychologist about my MFCSS. Tuesday: speak with my psychiatrist about the voice in my head telling me that Max is actually the Messiah. Wednesday: speak to my mentor about my fear of Tracktor doing a knee at training. Thursday: watch Apocalypse Now and remind myself that "someday this war is going to end". Friday: talk to my physiotherapist about May's hammy. Saturday: speak to my drug and alcohol counsellor about "my growing need for speed and novocaine". Sunday: go to Mass and pray that the enemy of human nature stays on the platform at Glen Iris station. Monday: speak to my parole officer about the 'Port Adelaide supporters problem'. Tuesday: speak to my social worker about my sleepless nights and horrible nightmares. Wednesday: catch up on my last seven years of tax returns, being sure to claim 57 years of mental health expenses. Thursday: watch The Matrix and wonder what reality I'm actually occupying. Friday: speak to my psychoanalyst about my fear of Max missing a set shot for goal, 15 metres out, directly in front, to win a grand final. Saturday: curse Mark McGowan for locking down W.A. on the morning of the game and the granny being moved to Brisvegas in mid-October.
  24. I think that number five is a pretty good player for us. 13 also shows some promise. And that little fellow who rests in the forward pocket played well last time. And of course that big number 11 . . . what a forward. Edna is baking the scones this morning, I'll take Miffy, our toy poodle, around the block at lunchtime, and have my afternoon nap. I like a nice sherry with water at 5 o clock and I usually chat with a few of the old chaps from the firm on Friday afternoon. Edna and I usual go to bed at half time on Friday nights, but tonight we'll wait until three quarter time I think. Go Fuchsias.
  25. Post of the year.
