2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Morning Chaser, yes he goes to school with my oldest (who is in the year group below) I have seen him play over the last two seasons and really been impressed with him. He played all of last season at CHB and stood out to me as a good 3rd tall with game awareness, strong hands and really good rebound defender. Saw him play seniors for East Perth earlier in the season and he had no issues with the bigger bodies. This season he’s spent a lot more time running through the middle and really began moving up the draft boards. Woey is the midfield coach at Wesley and he’s really pushed for Ginbey to play more through the middle. Tim Lamb came to watch him earlier in the season, big crowd there vs Scotch on Saturday so whether Tim was there again I’m not sure. He’ll be a good player, not a superstar but just has that competitive nature and work ethic, does the basics well

My apologies SONS, didn’t see him, don’t think he’s get the same tricks as Serong, just a real competitor and leader

You don’t have Rueban Ginbey in your group and he is a player we’re into

Farewell Luke Jackson
People can say what they like, however he’s going to be a star . We need to hold firm and play hard. For mine we’re giving one of our best up and comers to a premiership rival . But he’s also a tall and we all know how hard they are to find and the value they hold. My price is Hayden Young and a first rounder. Hold firm on this and we will get it. We have a player greatful to the club who doesn’t want us to lose out, and will sign short term if the deal isn’t right. We actually really hold the upper hand

VOTES: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Hello old dee, hope you’re well. Went to watch PSA footy this morning Wesley vs Scotch. Battle of the top 2 and unfortunately turned out to be a very one sided affair with Scotch dominant. Couple of WA 18s performed really well. Coen Livingston gave Scotch first use and their kids were cleaner and hardest at it. Ruben Ginbey was Wesley’s best and 2023 draft prospect Aidan O’Driscoll showed in really poor conditions how classy and clean he is. Koen Sanchez another state representative had a really poor day

Trade and Free Agency rumours
I think Meek is going to be a good ruckman in a few years. Grundy to me doesn’t have much more shelf life than Max. I think Meek will be another Harry Madden, Barnes, Jolly, Jacobs, Mumford, Witts type who gets pushed out at their first club but makes a good career out of their second opportunity

POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
It’s not just opposition supporters, who think Spargo is no good. @picket fence has been on his case for years. Had a few slices of humble pie last season during the finals series. However when we went through a downward trend this season he was on him again The kid can really play, he has great footy IQ and awareness of what is happening around him. He makes good decisions with ball in hand. At one point last night Freo had set up to force us down the line on the southern wing of the ground. Spargo hits a dart pass off the outside of his right boot on the 45 and picks a Dee (possibly Melk) lace out , which opens up the ground and leaves Freo defenders all exposed on the wrong side of their opponent

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
It’s ironic, those who read into his interview with Garry and Tim, he was leaving for midfield time heard what they wanted to hear. I said at the time I wasn’t worried by the interview, he was open and honest. Stated in the interview he was loving his time in the backline. Throughout his appearances in the media he’s been open and honest, calling out teammates and the overall performance, imploring the team first approach and do your job buy in needed for us to be there late in September. He has shown over several years he’s a team first player and great clubman, but still he was doubted. But those who jumped to conclusions, won’t learn the player/coach name and thread title will change but the responses will remain the same

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
No I heard it live and wasn’t concerned. He was honest about himself, what he has to weigh up for this decision and also open and honest about where the team is currently at and where we need to get to in terms of being in a position to challenge this year

Greg Stafford - Forward Coach?
This is like the Demonlanders potting Troy Chaplin as a poor defensive coach

Haselby played much better footy than Jon Ralph. He does have decent info from Freo

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
No not you Redleg, read the Clayton Oliver injury thread, I love the Dees and Clarrie but some of the comments are embarrassing from so called watchers of footy

Seriously, that’s ridiculous I love Jacko, but he’s replaceable we don’t have to go like for like, rejig and plan slightly and make the most with our trade

2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
He's a big lump of a kid, but not athletic. He dominates at Colts level, but he's going to come up against bigger and more athletic opponents at the next level. In an elite program he may trim down and improve his endurance/athleticism, but a little bit of waiting forhim to flourish. Will be an interesting watch
