  1. Ginbey can play the Hibberd role and that is the role East Perth played him in when he was in their seniors. 2021 he played for East Perth Colts and Wesley College as a rebounding CHB, where he was outstanding. He’s not big enough to be a KPD It was Woey who moved him into the middle this season for 2 reasons, out of necessity and to show the versatility Rueban has in his game. Woey felt Rueban could eventually be a midfielder and he flourished. WA ended up putting him in the middle and he has shot up the rankings, but I see an Elliott Yeo type where he will be a half back who can be thrown into the middle if needed. The kid has many strings to his bow and oozes leadership
  2. Demonland wanted Goody sacked in 2019
  3. Best of luck Oskar, as KLV said that video of your father presenting your jumper was a very special moment
  4. Ed Allan is a good size with really good endurance. Could be a big bodied mid who floats forward in a Bont fashion. I reckon West Coast we’re looking at Busslinger at pick 8 and Ginbey at 12, but I’m hearing Ginbey has interest from a few clubs who may pounce with live trading if the Eagles don’t take him at pick 8. If they get Busslinger and Ginbey that’s them set down back for 10 years with, Barrass, Bazzo, Busslinger and Edwards
  5. I’m thinking Ginbey won’t be available, West Coast will take him with one of their 2 picks before us. Do we look towards filling a need for a key tall at this pick KPD - Lewis Hayes/Busslinger KPF - Jefferson I actually wouldn’t mind us taking a punt with this pick on the Vic Metro boy Gruzewski who showed a bit to me in the championships. Another WA boy who will be a little under the radar due to missing a lot of the season with injuries is Ed Allan, he has a high ceiling and could be one who we say how did he not get taken earlier. Small forward who impacts the scoreboard could also be something we look at Konstanty with that pick. Having said all that I was really impressed with Sheezal in the championships and as good as the draft is next year if he’s sitting there at pick 5 do we offer the Hawks pick 13 and next years first and second (bearing in mind we have Freos 1st and 2nd pick) and pick 37 for pick 5 and 24 this year.
  6. Thanks for your efforts and service Sam, best of luck at Essendon
  7. That’s Rueban Ginbey who we have been into and who Woey pushed into Wesley Colleges midfield this year to show the versatility he had and improved his drafting capabilities
  8. My mother was all excited listening to trade radio, thinking one of her sons lifelong dreams had come true, when Matty Rendell was talking about Melbourne picking up a left footed wingman, with endurance who had some issues with the Pi$$, then they mentioned Lachie Hunter. On a serious note though, I like the pick up. Plenty of upside and potential to prevent the lock downs on Langdon impacting our assets, especially given we used a pick we were not likely to use next year
  9. Thanks for the heads up, I haven’t seen trade predictions like this since GNF was posting
  10. Not my kids DC
  11. Covid bubble in 2020 had a big impact, he’s no longer on our list. He played an important part in our drought breaking premiership and I thank him for that. I’m an adult not a petulant child and accept this is part of a national game, we move on and worry about who we have and us going forward
  12. I can add Moore, Big Carl and Crackers to that list in my time
  13. Yes he’s got to review what other posters put up and is said on SEN & Trade Radio
  14. There’s a lot of people who 10 years ago, who wouldn’t want to have admitted they followed the MFC
  15. Exactly, and some of the carry on by posters, talking about class etc when they show in this and many other threads a total lack of it
  16. But it fits the agenda if you wish to say we have done nothing to improve our list
  17. You mean we didn’t slide to pick 16 for 13 & 27, but but the Demonland naysayers said we would
  18. Agreed, think he’s heading there myself He’s a country boy who has been boarding in Perth for the last few years so used to being away from home and I think will play in 2023 for whoever drafts him
  19. Just the word that all the WA boys taken in 2021 have settled in well as a group but nothing specific to JVR.
  20. Be prepared for more sleepless nights because if we retain pick 13 and West Coast don’t take Ginbey with 8 or 12 we will take him with 13 if available
  21. May, Jackson, Kozzie, Rivers, Nibbler, Sparrow, Petty, Brown all played in the drought breaking Premiership and all non Vics, I agree you just back yourself. I had heard 2020 with Covid impacted Jackson settling in, however thought the close bond forged with the group in 2021 may have fixed that
  22. By trading the future 2nd
  23. Bailey Rogers, really good WAFL player but I’m sorry he ain’t making a big impact at the next level
  24. All I can say is from a WA perspective the 2005 to 2007 born boys have great depth, with next years crop just starting to stand out in local ranks Cohen Livingston is getting better every time he plays, Koen Sanchez and Mitch Edwards also all going to be sought after. With Edwards the one who will really step forward next season If WA is anything to go by I expect the draft to go deep. The one to watch who is developing nicely is Aiden O’Driscolll, great pace, exceptionally clean with his hands, poise in congestion and impacts the scoreboard. He’s the younger brother of Nathan from Fremantle. Luka Kentfield is another who if he gets a good fitness base could start catching a few recruiters eyes. Forward ruck who has very good disposal for his size
