  1. Depends if they're after consistency. Logic suggests watts plays hogans role and Pedo takes watts' role. Consistency suggests Pedo straight replaces hogan.
  2. You do realise that 5 of those clangers are the free kicks he gave away? Bit unfair to count the same stats twice.
  3. The deliberate OOB decisions against us in the last quarter are questioned in the 'Whistle Blowers' segment on afl.com.au. No surprise that the powers that be are happy with the decisions. Typical that the issue wasn't that they were paid but more the fact that WC had a few that weren't. Pity somebody didn't show them those ones and ask why they WEREN'T paid in contrast to ours that were.
  4. Don't forget NM. (Back when they were the best AFL team in the world).
  5. That was me. Slightly wrong as the comment about the 10-16 free kicks was near the end of the third quarter. It was 12 - 3 since that point. The final quarter was actually 10-2.
  6. If the boys are still on paleo then they could probably use some Grain-Free Gawny Granola.
  7. Fox commentators mentioned how it was unusual for WC to be losing the free kick count (10-16 at 3/4time) at Subiaco. Fourth quarter. 12 - 3 free kicks to WC Didn't notice either team change the way they played yet that is a huge swing.
  8. Big game for NM this weekend, but it has me in a tizzy. I have no idea who I want to win this one because it sucks either way. Would love NM to lose so the world can finally see how big a group of pretenders they really are, but that means i want the Pies to win. Yuk!!! If the Pies do win they will inevitably be ahead of us on the ladder. Yuk!!! I would love the Pies to lose so they stay below us but that means NM get another game ahead of us and i would love, love, love to finish ahead of them this year. And a draw doesn't help because that's the worst of both worlds (NM further ahead and Pies above us). What to do?
  9. Yeah, I know. It's just that Roos was talking about how Dawes would be valuable to ensure Hogan isn't 'left on his own' up forward when Watts goes into the ruck. Surely we could have NOT brought Dawes in and just put Frost as the back up ruckman. Then Watts can stay in the forward line. Surely it wouldn't be that hard to rotate Frost through. We have the two key back positions covered without him. Then there would be no reason to bring Dawes in which is surely a better option.
  10. So why did we bring Dawes in to be the second tall up forward when Watts goes into the ruck when we could just put Frost in to back up Gawny? Why bring Frost AND Dawes in?
  11. I think the comment meant from now until the end of the season.
  12. Won't we need to win one more than St Kilda?
  13. https://www.buzzfeed.com/raypajar1/these-concrete-hands-will-be-the-cutest-part-of-your-garden?utm_term=.ubMzvQKDD#.clXQ2AZLL Sorry. Just felt it should be posted here.
  14. Would Ed have said it about his wife? His kids? I would think not. So he has to ask himself why he wouldn't. Then that answers why it was wrong.
  15. I don't think our tackling was bad at all. But to be doubled and have a record number of tackles against us, I just didn't notice it. This means we almost had as many disposals and got tackled as we did disposals that we didn't get tackled.
  16. So Chris Dawes is to Jesse Hogan as Jack Haley was to Dennis Rodman?
  17. Had a Collingwood supporter behind me, amongst 90% Demon supporters. Half way through the last quarter, after a goal, the chants went up. His reply was 'why don't you all go buy finals tickets, ya flogs.' Nobody felt the need to inform him that his attempted sledge just mad his team look even worse. btw MCG staff were not letting Collingwood supporters into bays M1-2 (general admission next to the Demon cheer-squad) as the game got close to starting. They were even attempting to move Collingwood supporters that were already settled into their seats there. Not sure what that was about.
  18. We fumbled a lot again on the weekend, just like the Saints game. If we're not clean with contested possessions we get run over/pushed off the ball and it's 'wooshka', over our heads and into defensive 50. Our cleanest player was missing and it showed. Many say one player doesn't make a difference but if they can grab a ball with one touch and dispose of it to a running outside player from a stoppage which results in a goal just 5 times a game, that's a big difference. Especially when, if that doesn't happen, it goes the other way for a goal instead. Our game plan seems to be based on clean possessions out of stoppages. Oliver better be right to go this week.
  19. Missed Pedo and severely missed Oliver. But if GWS win by 100 we'll still make it into the 8. Yay
  20. So assuming Tyson is in for Oliver, who goes out for Jetta?
  21. I assumed this was correct. Viney (twice) and Watts got done for this on the weekend yet it stank of inconsistency when the very same call didn't seem to apply to the Doggies. If you get it wrong, that's fine. As long as you get it wrong consistently.
  22. Half could quite easily have been throws, hard to tell with speed and body position. No doubt they get away with plenty though. Still think Stringer's first 4th quarter goal was the worst of the day.
  23. David King showed some footage to the world regarding the Bulldogs' questionable disposals from the weekend on AFL360 tonight. He said they counted about 15 overall. And they didn't even show the footage of Stringer's first goal, or his first goal in the last quarter.
