Just noticed that Oliver has moved ahead of Hunt, Lewis and Watts in the AFL player ratings. A highly impressive result for a 32 game player. He sits 108th in the AFL overall. Already

Unlikely anyone in the 8 will be moving next week as they are all playing teams outside the 8. (Except Essendon if they lose to Bulldogs)

Credit to the fitness staff that they have been able to bulk him up significantly over the years without reducing his speed. It's a fine line.

MRP preview suggesting 1 week for Bernie's elbow (but bad record is a concern). Suggested the bump was okay as both were at the ball and the split second bounce of the ball made it hard for Bernie to pull out of his action. Interestingly, they showed an off the ball elbow from Jackson Trengove which they think should be 1 week which would see him miss our game next week.

There has been so many mentions of how the club planned for the fatigue that this stretch of the season was going to cause there was no way they would be playing anybody that has a niggle. It's not worth the risk.
