AFL website game replays. They make tags for each free kick. Doesn't take long to go through them if you really want to know.

Lazy journalism. Just took me 12 minutes to work out that he umpired the Doggies against Brisbane and NM. Called 9 out of the Doggies 24 frees against Brisbane and 6 out of their frees against NM. Calls a lot of stuff from a distance, especially at centre bounces. Gets sucked into the high tackles but most of them do. Especially when the Doggies drop in the tackle and lift their off arm so the tackler contacts above the shoulder. Hope for their sake they don't do that to Gawny. He just continues the tackle a bit harder then seems to give them a serve while he lays on top of them when they duck into him.

I know. I'm just pointing out that it's not necessarily that they receive a lot more free kicks (they only have 9 more than WC and 11 more than us). The differential is mainly caused by the small amount they give away.
