I hope Jack Watts has the body capable of putting on some serious muscle bulk. I mean Travis Cloke like. If this happens, and he gains some confidence relative to that size then we will be on a winner. Spot on. I'm unable to locate the article but there was a full two page spread in the west Australian soon after Lyon moved to Perth. Basically saying that he wanted out of Melbourne due to some pretty upsetting family circumstances, financials, and the other st kilda stuff with the school girl. There was never any chance of Lyon coaching Melbourne. To suggest that it was a failure by G Lyon and the club in general is ridiculous. Get over it and let's get on with it.

Mark Harvey was robbed last year due to the side being decimated by injury. They were on the up anyway. Lyon has landed a plum job where much of the hard yards had been done already.

Agree with what you've said but what I marvel at is how this game just goes up another gear for finals. When you look at it in this context, the MFC are so far away from making an impact and becoming finals aspirants it's nothing short of amusing, let alone nauseating.. This is what a few of the less 'lateral minded' fail to see. Under Bailey and the game plan he was persisting with, we would've been absolutley slaughtered in a finals match. The gap is is huge as you've pointed out however, the path we have started to follow this year is going to equip the team so much better. Anyway, back on Cloke. If anyone still doubts his value after last nights game you've got to go and get some serious help, because you've got no idea. I hope Neeld was infact deflecting the notion of our desire to bring Cloke in. We are screaming out for another big forward and at the moment Cloke is arguably the best in the competition.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if we still snagged Cloke, even after what Neeld said on Fox last week, that we had not made a play and were not interested.

It'll be great to get a few ex-bombers at the Dee's. We might play okay for at least half a season then...

Just an inkling... Anyway, my brother-in-law lives and works in State College, PA. Been over there for 12 years now. He raves about American Football. I still struggle to get my head around it. I'm trying to learn by watching the lingerie football league. My missus hardly approves.
