  1. These guys know what they are doing.. Have done very well and getting the right type of player into the club... Tom Bugg looks and plays like a marauding Viking... These guys are hard nuts and fighters...
  2. Faboulous post. Thanks WJ.... The faction thing inside MFC is certainly something I have underestimated in terms of how "dee-structive" it has been. I think anyone who has contributed any amount of money for debt demolition or just ordinary membership was owed something much greater than that petty nonsense..... They are on notice to get their act together and have got till the end of the season to show significant improvement.. I can handle losing but not when the "non negotiables" are nowhere to be seen...

  4. Great pick up. Won the "Best Clubman" award for the Cats last night.. Just what the joint needs..
  5. I do not post here a lot but after listening to Nathan Jones acceptance speech for his Bluey I thought it would be worthwhile to bring it to everyones attention.. What an absolute ripper of a kid... Confident, respectful, funny and committed.. He is the future....
  6. Parkin was a Melbourne supporter when he was a kid and is a member now.. Freo are a few years ahead and without injuries would have made the 8 at least if not top 4... He is not being personal..
  7. I agree on Laidley.. I saw him on AFL 360 about a week ago and he was very +ve about our list.Did weel at North with the list and resources and a good tactician whixh I think it is becoming glaringly obvious we need.. He fits like a glove...
  8. I agree. I reckon he has been a great and loyal servant, still has plenty of footy in him, will benefit from the improvement of the younger guys as he will not attract such attention and will still be an an endurance machine.. I am very sorry he is going and feel he should be playing out his career with his mate Brad Green. The club seems to be taking a "one size fits all" approach for guys 30 or more.. Well I reckon Cam has similar physical qualities to Robert Harvey and Michael Tuck. Has still got at least 3 good years in him. not to mention the mentor status he provides to a group of "Pups"...
  9. Will PJ go on the rookie list?
  10. Hey Jack, I will be there. What do you look like?
  11. Good post.. Its not as though most of us have much choice but to live through it anyway.. I can put up with the losses as long as I can see some development and I think that will come in the 2nd half of the year...
  12. Was listening to James Macdonald being interviewed on 3aw last night. Admitted that Jack Watts has a back injury and has hardly done any pre-season - unlikely to play in the first half of the season... The above is from a friend of mine. Can anyone else vouch for this?
