  1. They are really really bad in slow-mo....
  2. It was only last year when they gave Mark Harvey the arse. Truth be told it was the injury toll that affected that team as opposed to Harvey's coaching ability.
  3. Add in the fact that Greg is flying well and truly under the radar of any media and supporter focus, plus the fact that his brother and his commentary cronies are purely focusing on Melbourne re the tanking debate when all other clubs are just as stained, it does point the finger at about the only one, maybe two persons that survived the restructure post 186. Quite an elaborate scheme if ever there was one.
  4. I will chicken wing Adrien Anderson into submission.
  5. Just watched the coaches office with Robbo and Neeld. I was trying to make out what picture Neeld had pinned up on his notice board over his right shoulder. Pretty sure it's one of the earliest pictures of him and Neil Craig in deep thought at Gosch's paddock. I wonder if he has a caption on it.
  6. Rhino, my point is that in one sentence you state that it's all a media beat-up based on BM's comments (agree) and that it will go nowhere (disagree) because the AFL are all over it like a rash, probably more so now that when DB made comments. I understand fully where the situation is but have a difference of opinion in just how serious this is. I hope it blows over and we all move on but there is a real perceived threat that it won't.
  7. I can't believe you change your stance just to disagree with people. Anyway, carry on.
  8. What can't this question be asked in one of the other threads FFS? Hardly deserves it's own...
  9. But if it's all media hoopla, then the AFL are the biggest suckers (as in being sucked-in) of all. I mean honestly if it was as meaningless as you're purporting above then why are we here having this conversation? The AFL should have just said that McLeans and others comments will have no influence whatsoever on the decision following Baileys comments...
  10. From who? The media, Demonlanders, On the Couch bozo's? McLeans comments have established almost 3 days of discussion so far and has unleashed an AFL investigation once again.
  11. So what other options should be in there in your opinion?
  12. And let's also argue that he was dragged in the last couple of minutes because of his efforts. Mind you, he and the coach looked pretty happy about winning.
  13. I only voted on the players in odd postions. This is the only instance where you might be caught out and discretion really needs to be applied. Sending players for ealry surgery is setting you up for next year when you know this year is shot. Blooding youngsters in place of more experienced players is the nature of the beast and prevalent in all professional sports Delistings happen for a reason I can't buy into a player not putting in the effort Good poll.
  14. The problem with the raffle system is you might get a 200+cm ruckman when you're desperately looking for a midfielder.
  15. Apology not necessary as far a I'm concerned. As rpfc alluded to, if PG is a wee upset about his email being copied into a forum as opposed to be being mistaken in the national media, or beating his chest on the radio about something he knows SFA about, then he has seriously got his priorities up sh!t creek. But we already know that.
  16. WTF? They are pathetic narcissistic media whores only interested in their inflated egos and pay cheques. Don't even think of giving them credibility, FFS.
  17. Below comments.. "I knew what they were doing and why they were doing it, but I didn't have to watch it any more," Gardner said on SEN's Morning Glory program. "As a spectator or observer, there were a number of games that were questionable about how hard they were trying."
  18. Cameron left at the end of '07. Gardner had half a season with Bailey.
  19. Whatever peels the skin from your banana, wyl. Most normal people would consider this to be totally unwarranted given his previous position with the club.
  20. There's more damage in this article from Gardner. http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/143205/default.aspx
  21. Possibly. Conveniently in London, there could be more to our push for Cloke, dirty on several other factors such as Neelds departure and Malthouses behind the scenes mentoring and of course there's the obvious Foxtel stink about the whole thing. Who knows. We've had other fools like Kennett having a go to on and off.
