  1. Funny you say that. One of the blokes I used to play footy with works the games at Subi and was close to the Melbourne players on several occasions on the weekend. He said exactly the same thing, that our team looks like a school boys team in comparison to Freo and most other teams. We desperately need big and hard players. Not until this happens will we challenge.
  2. I intend to live of 'puff piece articles' right through the off-season. It's about the only thing that gets me ready for the next season..
  3. A derby elimination final? Think of the financial benefit of that... AD is, and nothing else. Personally, I think WCE will [censored] Freo this time around if it transpires.
  4. Has anyone heard of there's an open training session in Perth today? Just flown in and can't find any news... Probably too late.
  5. Yeah, it's sometimes quite discomforting to watch people buckle under a new regime, not getting what they want or were used to getting without any discipline. If Brent is unable to meet the criteria of the new way of working then maybe it's time to go. All will be revealed very soon.
  6. Neeld just confirmed Cloke will not be at the Dee's next year.
  7. Okay, so Royal could have coached those blokes under direction from Malthouse and it would've led to the same results?
  8. There is nop You missed my point. Our stoppage and clearance work is appalling. No system.
  9. Based on the fact Neeld shaped and coached a premiership midfield at Collingwood. Granted that it was with pretty handy players, he still delivered the message to those players to execute a game plan. Comms are breaking down somewhere...
  10. I just think you're way premature on this one Rangey. There are many Captains in the league that are not superstars. To say that you see nothing special in him at all is quite damning.
  11. You were filling his pocket when they were looking at Captains. Is he still skipper material or just an ordinary player that was lucky to get the nod?
  12. Parko mentioned on ABC that he just doesn't have the strength to match it with Walker. And this bloke is supposed to be our strongest defender.? I'm sure he'll be totally dirty on himself and plan to make amends.
  13. What is laughable is you rambling in, chest puffed, banging on about how the 'torch bearers' (whoever they are), have less idea than you. Of course we don't have the cattle and I am now convinced Royal is not delivering the message in such a way that it will create the behaviour change Neeld is after.
  14. Okay, this might sound pretty ordinary, but Jake got me over the line and into a Dream Team Granny with 94 DT points. I don't care how average he looked on the paddock, he got enough of the pill and more points than Dean Cox. Yeah, it's ordinary.
  15. Well said by Sheedy on this occasion, I will give him that. Roo's showed his true colours particularly when he laid the boots into the Dee's recently. Both of them however, are quite good at running with the hare and hunting with the hounds.
  16. Text all my Carlton mates tonight. Not one response.
  17. I could watch footy every weekend of the year if it was on. I enjoy it that much. However I also value my marriage so it's a good thing it only runs for 6 months. I guess with an 18 team competition, it would be logical to play each other once with a bye thrown in. I'm also a supporter of the State of Origin games returning. If this was to happen, it would make for a great season that isn't too long.
  18. LOL. You were bagging the shizen out of Neeld a month or two ago. Now he's impressed you. At least you're remaining consistent, WYL.
  19. Young has played a few good ones this year. Best was against Freo back in round 8 this year. His other better games have been against weak opposition. Has got the skills and is obviously up against stiff competition for a spot. Mature body would be nice and would definitely be in our 22.
  20. If Neeld is all about actions and behaviours, elite compliance and elite work ethic, then I'm really sorry to say it but Liam fails miserably. The club needs to continue with their support during this trial but to factor Liam into next years football team would be foolish and unprofessional. I think we all know that Neeld is of no such dispositions.
