  1. Wow Gil not happy with 4 weeks. What's he hoping for? Gets off on a technicality?
  2. Well there goes the dream IF we win the PF. Did they even discuss a fully vaxxed limited / smallish crowd option at the G i wonder? That's IF Draconian Dan would even be open to a discussion on the matter. Highly unlikely.
  3. Has to be one of his top three to five games i reckon. Ranked 3rd on the night (weighted stats) behind Clarry & Viney.
  4. Hopefully Libba coat hangers him into next year as he attempts one of his academy round the neck stages this week
  5. If there was a market on Toby getting 1 week, then appealing the result and getting off (or at worst a fine) i'd be placing a lazy $100 on it
  6. Qualifying Final, 2021 Adelaide Oval - Demons vs Lions Clarry does it again! Would add roughly 0.70 to Maxy for an idea of more accurate total score to allow for hit outs to advantage. Very nice game from young Sparrow on the big stage. Statistically Viney's best game for the season! Top 5 Meters Gained > Tracc 699 (just ahead of Rich on 695 who had 900+ the previous week), Clarry 574, Gus 536 then Lingers & Viney on 488 a piece. 7. Ive seen better in H&A GY but nonetheless it was up there given the circumstances. Composed with ball in hand and played a great link / utility role. Seemed to be everywhere tonight. Still stacks of upside in a team sense IMV. A few missed link up plays coming inside 50 , aside from Clarry who shined here and BB's needle to Macca. Can we afford to push Tracc inside 50 for longer, get him closer to goal while Macca/BB are resting to provide a different look up forward? Looks at home inside 30 and loves a goal. Although Macca was a bit of a decoy tonight and helped Fritta he also appeared to get in the road of BB a few times. Would like to see him playing a little higher, getting his opponent away from BB, fritta & Kozzie to make room for these fellas to work in. The alternative is Melk but not sure we can trust here. Hibbo is a must in for Smith for mine, especially if we end up playing Port. Hunt will be very unlucky to miss given he's been in the team all year up to injury and has had a VG season. Thought Sparrow was VERY good tonight (for a rookie) and IMHO was our 2nd best mid behind Clarry. And I'm talking pressure, composure, finish, body positioning, ground ball comtesting. Didn't think he was quite ready for the big stage but came of age tonight and makes us even more formidable through the middle. Was he on Zorko for much of the night or a fair Chunk? If so he appeared to get under his skin and kept him relatively quiet. To have the better of or even nullify such an experienced senior player ....wowee. Harmes a solid game and played a crucial pressure/link role just on the periphery. Maxy's first half was superb and played the remainder of the game out nicely. May was solid as. Lever, a few mishaps in the first quarter and a little sloppy/fumbly plus the 50, but improved thereafter. Lingers back to his best two way running and a nice goal in front. Would have loved to see him hand ball to ANB towards the end of the first quarter runing towards 50 given he was coming inside on his non-preferred. Viney solid and didn't make too many mistakes. There was a play coming through the middle in the last with Clarry where i thought Clarry could've shared with Viney & likely snagged a goal or at least kept the ball in our 50 a bit longer. Would have snuffed the Lions out at about the 10 minute mark had we converted here. Being picky but always room for improvement. Learnings! BB very good early. Would just like him to give that hand ball off to Kozzie straight after he marks when Kozzie calls for it & he's free and clear around the back (on one occasion tonight and there was another in the last week or two as well). Spargo also missed this same play option to Clarry last week. Luckily Viney stepped in, followed up and got it out to Clarry while getting tackled for a lovely goal around the corner. Fritta a beauty tonight. Liked his pressure without ball also. Great first up result. Sets us up to recover & reset for a really solid tilt.
  8. Thank Lucifer. Finally Tracc impacts
  9. Gus FCS stop kicking up and unders. Give our smalls a chance mate
  10. Gus is there ANY chance you could ever kick a goal mate
  11. Cameron's given Smith a bath. Hibbo FTW pls. What were Goody & Co thinking here?
  12. Sparrow's played a better game than Tracc
  13. Put Ttacc in the forward pocket or keep him on the bench for 5 and tell him to get going. He was ball watching at the drop of that last ball up in the middle. He is right off so far. Macca a massive liability
  14. Tracc fumble....Brissy goal
  15. Smith, Harmes, Tracc, Bowey, Macca and Spargo (apart from the one chase down and VG goal)....not the greatest games so far
  16. Why would Lingers not give to ANB there....would have run right in ....stupid
  17. Tracc time to step up mate
  18. Demons need to play smartness and get to areas of the ground where they can launch deep inside 30. Have to say Maccas been pretty average so far
  19. Matheson sniping
  20. Viney clearly held off the ball no free
  21. Ttacc trying to do too much there again around the arc. Just give it off or knock it forward instinctively son
  22. Gus's kicking is pretty ordinary. Nearly killed Clarry with that last up and under
  23. Tracc's significant goal on the training track from here on is to find some options by foot or hand when he gets the ball around the arc. Needs to find some finesse or just kick it to the hot zone if no one available for BB/Macca to take a run at it and possibly Kozzie / Spargs mopping up. Should come with alot of hard work but seems a fair way off it right now. Closer to goal, within about 30, he appears much more dangerous.
  24. Ttacc's IQ coming inside 50....very costly
