Thought i'd dabble in some of the stock english ale at Dans OD to see if i could find a gem from about 6 random lagers. Unfortunately bought one of these in the mix. Never again! It also gave me a headache...similar to Furphys! Entire batch was cat pee. Could not find one brew amongst the 6 that tasted anything like a classic English ale (from tap over there) Anyone know of one out here!??

Surely if we can put 10,000 VRC/Corporate Sponsor elites into a betting ring swilling chardys and scoffing down oysters we can get a few ppl at the G outdoors for a gathering sculling down Furphys while we fly our vintage pre premiership flags about!?? His come back match in the McGoos late in 2018 was something to behold. He went out to impact and hurt that day and he/the team never looked back in 2018. I believe he laid something like 15 Tackles in that comeback match!!? Well ok... we hit a brick wall in the PF but anyway. Was the best we'd seen in a long time and helped set the tone for the level of commitment required to get to the top. Could have left earlier to pursue NSW interests but stuck at it like a true pro and gave his all every time he pulled on the Red & Blue. Part of the winning culture that got us to where we are now. Well done Mr Vanders and ty for all your sweat & toil over the years.

So after ordering about 7 different lots of stuff finally got the first lot from the HUN Shop bout 8 days ago and the Weg posters on Weds! Happy as a pig in mud. Hangin out for the rest though as i want to put a giant framed classic together. Two fellas needed and some big bolts to hang this one when finished 😅 Frothy time...bottoms up Premiership Minions....

Yep no point wasting this stuff. It needs framing and if its a limited edition etc it should be in Conservation glass or museum glass so it doesn't fade. There's also perspex low fade options around but not sure how they scrub up when you clean them.

Thanks DW. Lots of copying and pasting and double / triple checking. Pressure points are the weighted sum of pressure acts. And it would seem there might be a few different metrics that classify as an act as well vs just the one general (chasing) one i quoted earlier. Even more reluctant to go there after reading these 😄 The nuances are so slight with some of these Champion / other stats i sometimes wonder how any stats scorer (working for Champion) could actually keep up with it all in a live sense and do it accurately. Thanks Dimmy. I only use effective disposals as part of the weighted composite score not general disposals as i feel this is likely to be a better indicator of quality vs quantity. As for pressure acts they aren't readily available other than when the Sun reviews a match the day/days following in the paper. I could subscribe online or physically buy it every week i guess but don't want to lay $ out to the Sun just for one data set. I would happily add this (and other Champion data) into the mix if it was easier to obtain. For anyone interested here's the official version of Pressure Acts & 1%ers. 1%ers: Includes any of four metrics; a spoil, knock on, shepherd or a smother. Pressure Act (courtesy of championdata.com): Where a player applies pressure from behind an opponent by chasing. They must be gaining ground or applying pressure significant enough to hurry the ball carrier to dispose of the ball.
