Would rather we trialled him again much earlier than this week. Too much riding on this game to go with him over Spargo. Was ok at Casey but all round i thought Spargo was a fair way ahead on the day. The last day for experimenting was a few weeks back against North. Imstead we went with Grundy again last week ...and look how that turned out.

If it hit the padding it could only have been the back half. if the hole ball's crossed the line that doesn't count either does it? Where was the review? The Fix continues!

Really need to dump the stand rule. Such a massive advantage to the player with the ball with the umps taking far too long to call play on 90% of the time. It's become a horrid eye sore that gifts the possession team too many cheap advantages and goals.

Looking to work it through the corridor by hand and foot wherever possible. Contesting hard when they need to but also taking the gane on once they win the ball. Great footy to watch Choll, Whitts, Rowell, Miller & Flanders all very good so far

I've only been there twice. The first time was uninvited with a Mark 'Jacko' Jackson mask on. The members were horrified and i only managed one pot before being asked to leave. I did argue that as an MFC player (at the time) surely i was welcome. That didn't appear to go down to well as they retorted with something to do with me being D&D.

Thinking the only time i might have a sook would be after witnessing a premiership at the G after the siren.

First four rows...not!! (I'm sure WCW will not relate to this lot. Not enough mayhem ... noise 😄) Next 6.... The rest (that's me getting up to go to the loo after a few too many frothies (drinking now banned though...dry area which is probably best!). The alien Hawks supporter won't last in the reserve area and will be marshalled out within minutes).... It's great fun being part of the 'rest of the DA' as WCW puts it (😝) and you don't have to put up with oppo supporter nuffies and their nonsense but you only get to see half the ground. My brother and i were part of the CS back in the early 70s. We sat in the southern stand and there was a secondary group down in the northern stand forward pocket Punt Rd end. Roughly M4 to M5 now. Bro and his mates (with younger me in tow) then created their own splinter group for a while hanging banners, waving floggers and throwing streamers, confetti (cut up newspaper) over the 1st level of the Ponsford. Didn't last long lol.

Might be able to fast track Verral & start blooding him slowly from about mid way through next season.
