Last 3 days in Brissy ... Not long and somewhat rose coloured glasses as a visitor but it does have some upside such as... > a whole lot less ppl so easier to get into places / parking > as a result of above ... less pressure on prices. Mostly reasonable including parking in the city > many seem a bit happier, light hearted and with less traffic on the roads a few less angry folk it seems > Brissy river's a winner but with so many high rises coming up.... get up quick if you want a view or be prepared to search hard for one that does. Overall it has a feel of 'working to live' rather than the other way alot of the time in Melb. Generally i like it up here. Selective places in Noosa decent as well which i did late last year. Cant say im a huge fan further up as just too hot and cant hit the beaches around Cairns & beyond unless you have a death wish.

What a great interview. Very professional and reminded me somewhat of those we used to hear on SEN years back pre-Hutchy but no longer. How he came to choose the mighty Demons over the old enemy, the lead up to the GF & the post flag euphoria was very interesting. Defenders needing to watch out for JVR's corkies haha! Big thanks to Andy and the Demonland crew who helped put this together.

His game on Sunday was all class. And it spanned the 4 quarters. Topped off by one of the greatest VFL goals I'm assuming he isn't sub which would be dissapointing for him. Looked to be in scintillating form and easily BOG on the day.

He is ready & might be hitting the ground with Casey this week subject to whether they want him to fly up or not. Just needs the hit out you mentioned to finish off. Done all the work required aside from that.

JVR needs a big leading target / decoy and someone to take the number 1 defender off of him to give him a bit more of a chance at clunking a few deep. Goody was probably hoping someone would stick their hand up against the Hawks on Sunday. Macca probably the closest and not far off but possibly a bridge too far (this week). Personally i don't think it's the Shak either. BBB probably missed the opp on Sunday as well. Macca might just be the best of a bad bunch and get the call up. His work up the ground was first rate in the 2nd half. Then there was Melk. Easily BOG and you would think should be straight in. But for whom?

SEN (read Collingwood's surrogate broadcaster) and it's hosts are a very hard listen now and have been ever since Hutchy took over. Super cringeworthy especially Radar and, aside from Brenton Sanderson's analysis on a Thurs, generally a very very boring lot that just talk AFL speak & pander to the Collingwood nuffies. Sando's session is available via the Thurs Whately podcast and is the only piece i bother listening too.
