Player on left is hanging on to his right arm. Max rarely gets any protection. Most umps seem happy to just let most of it go when it comes to Max. Yet most KTFs you can barely touch them. Why are we employing a 4th ump to cover the forward infringements if they're not going to call what's presented to them? Umpiring Dept has been a complete joke fest all season. Talk about amatures.

JVR shouldn't have to be doing so at such an early stage if his career but that's the unfortunate truth. In limited doses he is as good or better than Grundy and probably only a smidgem behind Max at tap ruck work now. Max & Reg were beaten on a number of occasions with tap work by their oppo rookie De Koenig tonight.

The ball dropped below his hand before he even got it near the trajectory. It's not just that he missed, he was late with the attempt by a split second but that was enough to miss it entirely. But according to all the Blues happy clappers at 7 it was touched, bar Daisie. That might be her last special comments sesh 😄

Just watched the slow mo in slow mo. Missed his left hand, missed his right hand, missed his boot.... GOAL No goal line angle shown to confirm any of that. Like it or lump it we was robbed folks Imagine if that's for the premiership. And we call this a professional sport. Hilarious

The review was one of the most amature reviews and we're supposed to be watching the game being played at the home of footy!! Where was the ball ovrer the line / or not side on view!!?? Macca our last hope. No one in that forward line leads at the carrier. They all run away or stay too deep with the exception of Smith but we started him as a defender lol. Why are we STILL playing midgets at CHF!!??? What possible advantage does that give us. It's been a massive fail all season but we still persist with it. DUMB DUMB DUMB As for the touched review. Touched or not..... where was the side on shot that would've clearly shown whether it was touched !?? Apparently we're only allowed to view all the other inconclusive ones. Some players aren't playing anywhere near the top of their game atm.... Namely Sparrow, ANB, Jordan & Salem. Too many clangers and or fend offs when a quick dump kick forward in greasy conditions is the better option. Salem could've redeemed himself with the gimme at the end but alas. Our smalls & mediums didn't stand up either. Kozzy needed some time in the middle later in the game. We looked slow as a wet week at ground level with the likes of Jordon, Sparrow, Clarry, Viney & Gus in there and only one of them can be hidden in the sweeper role. JVR disappointing tonight. Needed to kick at least one of the relatively simple shots...no review needed! I've already expressed my views re Grundy as a forward and in general over many months. Nothing's changed after tonight. Add's nothing to this team and robs us of either another genuine forward who can find the sticks or a classy outside mid runner/link up player around the stoppages.

Why isn't there a forward running out at the ball carrier there for the short shallow pass on the lead?? They're all sitting back or running back towards the top of the square drawing more defenders to the drop also??

JJ is a real goer. And a lovely player at VFL level. But.... too many clangers and poor decisions made at this level for mine. Would be blooding Woey at this point. Hibb on and Joel forward yes??
