The fat controller (whoever he may be)has always been, still is, and probably always will be - a liar. This is from other fictional characters who have known him for years.
  2. Nicho reminds me of Bluey - who I was lucky enough to have as a neighbour in St. Kilda. And he wasn't above playing kick to kick with a 10 year old fan either. By the time I was 18, I'd been to 7 grand finals and seen 6 flags. I just want to see at least 1 more before I permanently leave this mortal coil.
  3. It is amazing that with Jamar missing so many games, the combo is still 11 clearances clear of any other in the league.
  4. The kid is 194cm, has basically not had a full preseason for the past 2 years and has had some very good games (eg.the 37 disposal game against WB in 2009}. He's a loper and will always look slower than he is. With a full preseason and some continuity in games, I suspect he will live up to his earlier promise. Just give him some time.
  5. Smart, articulate, tough, uncompromising, talented, tough, good disposal, leadership and is tough
  6. Didn't hear any booing in the AFL members' area. Poor bloke tried his guts out when he was a demon and was loved by his teammates
  7. 6 Moloney 5 Trengove 4 Watts 3 Jones 2 Frawley 1 Martin
  8. Generational players have better disposal. Judd at 16 was infinitely better at kicking than Scully is now.
  9. 6 Watts 5 Martin 4 McKenzie 3 Nicholson 2 Howe 1 Green
  10. Every interview with an MFC person about this very talented freaky prat makes the point that the issue is not destabilizing. How can it not be? Even if there's only a slight list off the upright, the ship can go off coarse. As far as I'm concerned if he doesn't sign by the bye, then he shouldn't be played. Will this 'loyal' bloke put the club through this scenario every time he comes out of contract? That is - if he stays. Stuff him!
  11. Given his age, I'm rapt with his progress, and it's likely he'll get taller. I know it's only hearsay, but a mate's son played in the game. My mate thought he played 'a very valuable 2nd half'(JV, that is). FWIW

Tom McDonald who has been playing back and 2nd ruck for Casey could be tried at FF. He's big for a kid and kicked 14.7 in the TAC comp last year without paying forward all the time. He's game, tough and a good mark.
  13. Some people just can't handle extra responsibility. Green was a fine footballer - perhaps he still is. But he's not a captain's toenail on the field. He should show real leadership and stand down from the captaincy. Give it to Sylvia who seems to consistently deliver inspirational effort when the chips (and the Chip - sorry) are down. He at least gut runs, harasses and tackles.
  14. We played one quarter at the required intensity. The 3rd. Had we played as we did in quarters 1,2 &4 last week, Essendon would have pantsed us.
  15. What happened later is more concern and culturaly bad. Not running the game out is poor. Even if its chasing butt.
  16. 6 Sylvia 5 Morton 4 MacDonald 3 Howe 2 Watts 1 Moloney
  17. On what I saw, 39 wouldn't surprise. A couple more games in the midfield at this level would build his motor. I'd also like to see him hard tagged at VFL level to see how he'd cope. Could be a very good midfielder one day.
  18. with an early guilty plea - otherwise $1200 for 1st offence.
  19. The ammos gave us Junior, and now Nicho. A fertile recruiting area which will increase in importance.
  20. At last. Been waiting a long time for him to really find his confidence. He was good last week, and his goal lifted him to greater heights which he brought tonight. He's back.
  21. 6 McKenzie 5 Rivers 4 Gysberts 3 Martin 2 Trengove 1 MacDonald many apologies
