  1. While I would probably have delisted Terlich, I have no real problem with his being re-signed as he gives his all and is brave. There was never any doubt about Bail (who has shown considerable improvement this season) and Riley, who needs a full preseason to show his wares. I still have faith in the rooster.
  2. Yeah, that rotten mission sponsoring the dogs

  4. Having supported this club since 1954, I would find it impossible to barrack for any other team. Anyway, I suspect my demise will occur before the club's.

  6. And the teams that represented us in the 70's and early 80's at least put some effort into their performance,
  7. The most insipid performance I've seen in 61 years of watching this club play. Sat through every game in 1981 and was not as disgusted as I am today. 186 was a better performance.

  12. He also twice burnt his teammates by selfishly trying to be a hero and stuffed up both times. Pick 23 was incredibly generous and Vince, well...

  14. Agreed. They're in the middle of the pre-finals increased training load. We'd have to be a very rough show, BUT we are coming back from Darwin.
  15. Key words being -'...there are times...'
  16. Any decision re a PP has to be approved by one E.McGuire first. As does anything else.
  17. We can take it a step firther and stop the players being allowed touch the ball with their hand - except for the fullback.

  20. Oddly enough, I find myself agreeing with you. The backline is functioning well, and our clearance stats clearly demonstrate we need more class in the midfield. Chip doesn't play as a 'big' forward but as a lead up running one. I'd trade him in a heartbeat for an established good midfielder.
  21. Nothing unusual or unexpected. The umpires were just their usual deplorable selves.
  22. His old man played 150+ games for the swans, and Tom was happy to go there as a father/son. I'd be amazed if he left anytime soon,
  23. He is very good defensively. His 1%ers are high every week. His football intelligence is very low, thus his poor decision-making. Nevertheless, for all his faults, he's had a good year. And will only get better.
