Yesterday wasn't disappointing, yesterday was reality Geelong are 10 goals better than us. Last year, they were 100 goals better. We're improving.

Rivers for one. MacDonald. Neither of those guys were good today, and neither of them have a decent match up next week.

Chip was very very good on Johnson. After he kicked 2 early in the game, Chip absolutely dominated him and gave us plenty of drive off the half back line. Bartram did a great job on Burns too. He has really resurrected his career. The rest of the backline had a bad day, although I think Grimes did a reasonable job down back, but wasn't able to give us any forward drive whatsoever.

Had a wonderful first game. Great at winning the ball and very clean with his disposal. Going to be a gem!

I don't care who goes out, but we need Scully, Trengove and Bate back. I'd also look at maybe rewarding Cheney with a game, given Carlton have plenty of small forwards we need to cover.

We weren't disgraced, and I was happy with the pressure we put on them. In the end their footskills killed us, and their delivery meant that our defenders had a tough day at the office. Not to mention that both Warnock and Rivers were smashed. This game was always going to be a write off and now the task is to go out and SMASH Carlton.

yeah meeting got pushed back which completely stuffed up the rest of my day which is why I'm only just leaving work. My week has been a bigger fail than the entire back catalogue of the Geelong Advertiser. TGIF!

I'm all for continuing this initiative, but next year we either need to play the Darwin game before the split round (which means we'll need to play Collingwood, then fly to Darwin in the first week of the split round for a game). If that's not possible, we need to get at least a 7 day break, so follow up with a Sunday game and make sure it's at the G to at least balance the difference. This year is not so important because we aren't competing for a finals spot, but this could be the difference between making or missing the finals next season.

I hope we play at our best, no, I hope we play the best we've ever played. That way we might only lose by 10 goals. All I'm realistically looking for on Saturday is a good showing from our backline, and for our forwards to convert every opportunity they gets, because I know our midfield is going to get smashed to pieces.

They'll all be nice and fresh to smash Carlton, and that's the only thing that matters. These guys were no doubt due for a rest so better this week then in a game we can realistically win.

I really hope it's similar to this logo. I used it extensively when I designed the merchandise range, because to me it was beautiful, traditional and quite interesting without having that tackiness factor.

It would make you feel better! You do have to wonder why a footballer has to get it on with a school girl, when he surely has plenty of other more sound choices. Then again, a lack of intelligence from both parties makes for a very dangerous mix, and the one that really lucked out is the poor baby!

I'll start it off... Tapscott is crap, I mean he has done nothing but sit pretty on that injury list and waste our time. He has shown nothing, and we should have redrafted Luke Molan with pick 18. We'll end up regretting the decision to draft him.
