I think if Tyson is out they’ll play Trac more in the middle which leaves a hole at half forward which I think Hannan can fill very well. I’m not against playing Spargo at all, but I want Hannan in. If Tyson is ok he will definitely play which makes it hard to fit in Hannan as well given Viney is an automatic in.

I’m a big fan of his but finals is another step up and he really does look tired. Plus physically he will struggle. Hannan is more dangerous playing up forward I think. If Spargo plays I won’t be upset I just think Hannan is better than him currently

To be fair we haven’t beaten many teams in the last 12 years and they did win 3 flags in that time.

Hell no. I think Geelong is the weakest side in the top 8. They wouldn’t have even made finals if their last two matches weren’t against 2 of the 3 worst teams in the comp at their home ground. We should have beaten them twice this season. A bit more experience and Gawn kicking straight and we win both. I look forward to the redemption of beating them in finals. I loath them and I want to play them more than anyone else. Hawthorn and Richmond scare the crap out of me. Geelong don’t.

I’m excited for today. I wonder if winning last week and releasing the pressure will see us play free flowing attacking footy, which is what we do best. Or whether we will retreat back into our shells because “we made finals already”.

I loved his quote that to win finals you need to display inhumane behaviour. No Judd, just because you are inhumane and have all the personality of a dried fig, does not mean that everyone else is a robot like you. The only reason you won a premiership is because you were surrounded by lots of other stars and cocaine. How is Smith progressing with his injury? If we can bring him in and send Fritsch back up forward, it solves the problem of who can replace Spargo who looks really really done. He's put in a magnificent effort for someone in his first season. We forget that Fritsch played VFL before so he is much more conditioned to a full season. Wagner gives me no confident whatsoever. He panics and turns the ball over frequently. Bugg is a hell-no from me.

Bloody hell, what a sad fall for someone who was so talented, so successful, and seemingly had everything. He just can't seem to get it together, even with so many people on his side trying to help. Feel sorry for his family.
